Qdoba Mexican Grill

I will first start with, this is my favorite fast food Mexican joint. For a couple months coming to this location it has been a hit or miss with good food/service. Tonight was absolutely disturbing. I first tried calling three times to make sure they were open because their hours are not consistent at all. I went in and waited 10 minutes with only 2 people in front of me. Two employees came in from outside and one just jumped right on the line. He did not wash his hands nor did he have a hat on. He continued to touch his face, hair and phone without having gloves or washed hands. He continued to touch just about everything on the line. When it looked like he was coming to take my order, he grabbed gloves, then I asked him to wash his hands. He proceeded to have attitude and throw his gloves on the ground. I am absolutely not pleased with this unsanitary environment. Not sure if it was just the crew working tonight. But I’m very unpleased with the standard of food safety. Also the guy didn’t cut my chicken very well and it is extremely fatty.

I spent $30 on two burritos, chips, queso and salsa. I have never spent so much to be so disappointed. Quite simply the blandest burrito I have ever eaten. The queso too, it did not taste like anything. Like weird thick bland soup. It looked good, but had no flavor. You’d be better off eating papier-mâché. Oh, and the “salsa” was literally just red water with no substance whatsoever. I wish I were exaggerating about this place. Pathetic. Is this what passes for Mexican food in these parts? Stick to the Taco Bell value menu. This place is a joke.

I usually love Qdoba, but today’s experience was disconcerting. When I walked in, there were no other customers and two people behind the counter, but the counter was filthy. Despite the lack of rush, they were not cleaning and there was spilled food all over. Many of the containers had spilled into other containers. I ordered my food and at the end saw the girl undo what looked like used tin foil (crunched up in a ball with holes in it) and fit it over my bowl. When I went to get utensils and napkins, that counter was also filthy and had some sort of a red stain all over it. When I got to my car and started eating my bowl, the pork was cold and the rice had crunchy pieces. Overall, a very disappointing visit. I have worked as a cook before at a different restaurant and never would have been allowed to keep my food containers that busy, even in the middle of a rush. There’s no excuse for not cleaning between lunch and dinner rushes.

I don't care if the staff is annoyed with each other and they want to fight. They shouldn't let customer get affected. Couple of them were arguing and one left inbetween the order and the someone had to finish that. I don't know who's managing the place but you are definitely not doing it right!! food taste sucks.

The table seemed a little dirty so we wiped it down with a Clorox wipe. This was the result. When we showed the employee, she told us that someone must’ve been sitting there before us. Yeah. Must’ve been Pigpen from Charlie Brown. C’mon. Food was horrible and it’s typically pretty good. I’ll steer clear of this location going forward.

First they had a sign that it was order online only. Then they took it off so we walked in. Unclean inside. The kid put the lid on my bowl before I was done ordering, then did it also to my partner. Rang up our food before we were even done ordering. Food did not look prepped well. This location is suffering by the looks of it and all of the bad reviews. I will never go back again.
