Blue Gator Tiki Bar & Restaurant

Best dining experience I have had on my visit here. Being from Louisiana, I am very particular about my food. This place did not disappoint at all. Clam chowder outstanding!! Fry breading has a wonderrful flavor and the perfect crispness. Service from Sparky was an added plus along with all the attentiveness from all who work there. Pretty sure I will make my way back before I leave town.

AMAZING PLACE. We had lunch for two on the outside deck overlooking the river. Very cool atmosphere a large bag and tons of tables for seating. Both meals were very good and reasonably priced. We are two hours away but will definitely make a trip back for this place and to try his Airboat tour or maybe rent a small boat. Super cool place that you must stop at!

I really enjoyed this place and what I had. The prices were reasonable and the atmosphere was cool. I had the blue gator for a drink and you couldn’t even tell there was alcohol in it. We also had the seafood Mac and cheese yummy for sure and the trio app. I was surprised how good the fried green beans were.

What a gem of a Riverside restaurant. Fantastic seafood. My wife and I ate here three times in as many days. We loved the extensive outdoor seating and opted for the bar stool seating overlooking the river option. This is a non-pretentious come as you are place. I had the Angler Platter for dinner and sampled fried clamstrips, fried grouper and blackened scallops. All were excellent and fresh catch tasting. The batter was perfect on the clams and fish. The hush puppies were some of the best we ever had. Golfball size, perfectly fried and a nice sweet moist interior with a crispy coating. Another best ever were the clam strips. I’ve had bigger but not better. Perfectly fried with a crunchy batter and tender sweet clams! They were so good I ordered them as my entree the following day. We also loved the baby bakers as a side. Mini baked potatoes. Good size portion. I recommend ordering a side of sour cream for dipping. Their sweet potato fries were tasty too. They also offer a might tasty New England Clam Chowder. Great staff. Crystal is a sweet and sassy waitress that we loved. We will be back !! Did I mention reasonable prices!

This place is fantastic !! The fish was so fresh. My wife loved the salmon salad and because a little lady eating there told me their Cubans were good I ordered one. It was hands down the best Cuban sandwich I've ever had. Server was great and atmosphere was comfortable. We were visiting the area when we visited there. Now we can't wait to go back !! P.S. The gator bites are absolutely the freshest and the best that we have ever had .

Stopped in to grab some lunch after paddling. I tried the seafood mac and cheese and it was very good and very affordable. I was surprised at the number of large scallops I received. I enjoyed being able to sit at the tall counter overlooking the river. The only thing I did not like was the parking area. I don't know if there is another parking lot, but the lot we parked in was tiny and difficult to navigate because people were just parking anywhere they could squeeze a car.
