High quality dining experience! We had outstanding service and the food was very high quality and skillfully prepared. Slightly pricey, but generally more upscale than most establishments. Recommend happy hour!!

It was a random Wednesday night. Through an odd series of circumstances we decided to eat at Kona grill. We were pleasantly surprised that hidden on their menu was a date night special available Sunday-Thursday. This special includes two glasses of bubbly (the wine not the PepsiCo sparkling water) one shared app (either calamari or meatballs). 2 entrees (salmon, steak or pasta) and a dessert. The price 39 per person. Since we were on a date night we did the date night special and it was solid. The service was also quick, friendly and efficient. That’s all I got.

If you haven’t been here for Kona’s Happy Hour, you’re missing out. Really good specials, if you like sushi. I mean, the sushi is great no matter the day and always fresh. The drinks, you actually get what you pay for, which is nice. Great location in Cherry Creek (the mall and much more). The staff always have great attitudes and work well together. Bathrooms are very clean. Just a good all around experience every time we’re here. Highly recommend it. Also, don’t forget to have them validate your parking pass before you leave (free).

This was our first time at Kona Grill and I can confidently say our whole experience, from walking in until our departure, was PHENOMENAL! Heather helped us right away at the front, she made sure to ask our preferences on seating and that we were happy with our table and placement! We then had Kaden greet us with a great smile and vibe! He made us feel right at home with his greeting and description of who Kona Grill is and what to expect with our first experience here! He was knowledgeable on cocktail/spirits selection and put in our drink orders for us. Our server Carter was absolutely amazing and made our already great experience FANTASTIC! He was fun, engaging, organic and friendly! He gave us suggestions that we were not disappointed with in any way…in fact we were overly happy with what he suggested in our ordering! He invited us back and we will definitely come here for our future trips to Colorado! A big thank you to this Kona Grill staff for the great food and , even more important…the top shelf customer service! 10/10 WOULD RECOMMEND!!!

I want to start this review by giving a shoutout to our server, Wyatt. He provided the best service I’ve had at a restaurant in I don’t even know how long. His recommendations were great, he was attentive, and professional. As far as the food goes, Kona Grill never disappoints. The ribeye meatballs were great but the sunset roll was out of this world good.

My mom and I had the macadamia crusted chicken. It was fire, so good and amazing. The sauce they put on the green beans. Should go on everything. The butter caks were awesome. Rider our waiter the best service.

We were visiting Denver from Oregon for a real estate conference and decided to check this place out before we headed to the airport. We really enjoyed our drinks and food! The bottomless mimosas were AMAZING! Highly recommend stopping in if you are in the area!

Kona Grill’s outdoor patio & happy hour was calling our names! Their Happy Hour menu runs Monday through Friday from 2-6pm & 7 days a week 9pm to close. The Happy Hour includes $3, $6, & $9 eats & drinks. I valeted my car at Cherry Creek Shopping Center before heading inside to Kona Grill. We were seated outside on the patio that was airy & filled with greenery (definitely a place you want to sit and hang out for a while). Our server Dana was knowledgeable on the menu & quick with service. For my Happy Hour cocktail, I got the Watermelon Margarita for $9. The Watermelon Margarita was made with lunazul tequila, Monin watermelon, & lime. This marg tasted like summer - naturally sweet from the watermelon with a kick from the tajin rim. Tanya got the Raspberry Mojito for $9. The mojito was refreshing with the sweet raspberries complementing the cool mint & bubbly soda water. Cassidy & Caroline got Skinny Margaritas for $9. The Skinny Margaritas were made with don julio blanco, cointreau, lime, & agave nectar. The skinny margaritas were light & tangy. For $6 eats we got the Crab Crunch Roll & Spicy Tuna Roll. The Crab Crunch Roll was made with crab salad, motoyaki mayo, cucumber, tempura flakes, & eel sauce. The Spicy Tuna Roll was made with spicy mayo, & cucumber. For $9 eats we got the Chicken & Shrimp Lettuce Wraps, Avocado Egg Rolls, & the Bama Roll. The Chicken & Shrimp Lettuce Wraps were made with bibb lettuce, cucumber salad, & spicy sesame sauce. I piled the finely diced chicken & shrimp into the crisp lettuce cups & enjoyed. The Avocado Egg Rolls were served with honey-cilantro dipping sauce. I fell in love with these egg rolls - the delicious honey-cilantro dipping sauce really took them to the next level. The Bama Roll was made with crab salad, cream cheese, jalapeño, tuna, avocado, soy paper, smelt roe, spicy mayo. This was our favorite sushi roll of the evening. For $3 eats we got the Potstickers. The Potstickers were seared chicken & vegetable dumplings served with Asian slaw & traditional soy dipping sauce. From the regular menu we ordered the Seared Sea Bass Sliders made with miso sea bass, furikake, miso aioli, Asian slaw, cucumber salad, king's Hawaiian rolls, & served with russet chips. This was a great way to enjoy sea bass - the miso aioli added savory spice to the buttery fish & rolls.
