Mile High Vienna Stand

As a connoisseur of Chicago Beefs, I was excited to try this spot in Denver. It did not disappoint. Too often in this town when you order a beef dipped wet, they look at you sideways and give a side of au jus like it’s a French dip. Not here. The beef was appropriately dipped wet and the bun held up from start to finish. The sandwich had a hearty portion of beef. Fries were solid. This won’t be my last visit. #WAF

I found my Chicago dog spot here in Denver!! The Dawgs are amazing! Snappy like they should. No ketchup on the dawgs! All mustard with that amazing pickle! Please come and show this place some love especially if your from Chicago you will live be the sports memorabilia repping the windy city! Also have a great happy hour food special! Sunny the owner is on the register ready to make you some Dawgs!

Found this place purely by luck one day! I grew up inner city Chicago (Milwaukee/Pulaski/Belmont) and finding a true taste of Chicago in the middle of Denver was an awesome find! I can tell you from experience, this place does it right. From the bread to the beef, to the sweet/hot peppers…it’s all awesome! You want it wet? They get it right! The fries…order them well done and you wont be sorry. Thanks again Sonny! We WILL be back again!

Great way to get your Chicago fix while living in or visiting Denver. Great customer service, very clean restaurant and the only reason I lowered the food to 4 stars is because of the bread for the Italian beef sandwich which fell apart immediately when I tried to pick it up….glad I didn’t order it dipped. I know, it’s tough to get good Chicago Italian bread here in Denver so it may not be their fault. The food was delicious tho and I’ll definitely go back.

I’m in love with the idea of Italian Beef in general so I had to seek it out here and Denver. Lo and behold here’s a legit place that has it. The sandwich was everything I hoped it would be: tender, juicy and generous beef slices between two simple rolls with some peppers atop it. The ju that’s at the bottom of the sandwich just tops it for me. And I kinda really liked how unabashedly greasy the fries were. Idk, I love simple establishments like this that know exactly what they’re doing and doing it well. Only if it wasn’t all the way tucked away in the rarely visited side of Broadway. Wait, maybe that’s a good thing…

Stumbled upon this place and could not have been more thrilled. To start, the atmosphere was really inviting. Brightly colored, and who doesn't love a cutout sign to pose with friends?! The service was great; every single employee was so friendly. And the food? AMAZING. We got the chili cheese dog, the Chicago dog, and the fries. Both the hot dogs were excellent! I'm normally not a huge fan of shoestring fries; but they were so salty and hot, they were addictive. We hope to return again soon!
