I frequent The Horseshoe Lounge. It’s such an awesome spot to mingle. STRONG drinks. Rae and Johnathan, you’re the best!! The 3pm - 7pm happy hour simply can’t be beat. Especially on Mondays. The Pizza and Truffle & Piggy Tots are on point too.
To the bartender I've seen working Wednesday and Saturday…screaming “ID’s!!!! Let’s see em!!” The very second you walk through the door is extremely unwelcoming. Doesn’t deter me though because I love The Shoe.
A cozy bar to scoot up to on a cold day. Nice outdoor seating when the weather is warm. Can't speak for the food but other say it's good.
Good drinks and nice atmosphere, there is a pool table .. nice seating outside to chill and enjoy the sights and sounds of the locals..

Hidden local gem. The Horseshoe Lounge is the type of dive-bar you 'think' every city has, but very few live up to the hype. This place is impressive without the overpriced drinks and twinkling string lights that every bar seems to have. Their menu is simple. Their drinks are reasonable ($4 for domestics). Their kitchen serves flavored tater tots and delicious hot dogs. This place is cozy, wonderful, and the staff is incredibly accommodating & laidback. Bliss for a casual evening.

The best part about the tots at this place is the variety. At 7 different options for tots (besides plain tots), you have quite a few options. I got the Thai ginger, truffle, buffalo, & pesto, with that same order being how I would place them in rank of flavor. Each of them had solidly crunchy taters, with minimal sogginess regardless of the amount of sauce used. Thai ginger was quite novel with some sweet chili sauce and the combination with ginger was lovely. The truffle and buffalo were both delicious with their classic flavors added to tots. The pesto option was lackluster with the shaved cheese and cold pesto. We ended up simply scraping off the toppings on that plate and eating those plain. Overall this is a solid divey location with some solid tots worth venturing to!
Place is amazing, staff was more then accommodating and welcoming. Had a great time with great drinks.
This is THE neighborhood bar. Made instant friends, met some new neighbors, learned a lot about the neighborhood, and had a great time. Kelly is easily the best bartender I’ve met in Denver! We will definitely be regulars here.
