Awesome eggs benedict! While I had the traditional another in our party had the lox Benedict and very much enjoyed the dish. Pacific coast oysters as a first course were delicious too. While we did not have the bottomless crab many tables around us did and looked to be really enjoying it. Very nice way to spend a Sunday morning sitting outside on the patio.
We stopped in rather accidentally on the Friday night the weekend before Christmas (arguably a very busy night) and were fortunate enough to be seated immediately. Our server Maria was outstanding, all 3 of us thoroughly enjoyed our meal and even stayed and enjoyed excellent dessert.
Friendly people, delicious food, competent and helpful-not-just-adequate wait staff!

Really good selection of oysters. Their price-to-portion ratios could be a bit better, but overall pretty decent. It would be a good place to go for a nice cocktail or two to kick off a nice relaxing evening on the town.
Tried this place--an upscale fish and raw bar--on a Tuesday night after checking into nearby hotel. This is one of several nice restaurants on the property. Had the Jax Manhattan and it was the best Manhattan I've had in a long time. Dinner was raw oysters and the seared scallops entree and it was all delicious. I highly recommend this place.
Ordered the green beans and calamari-fantasticc. The daily cocktail was even better-fresh and not too sweet tasting. The waitress even extended happy hour another 10 minutes for us with our second round of drinks. Patio was lovely too, you'd never know you were just a block off of a busy Colorado Blvd intersection. Parking was a little rough, though-so plan get here early!
Great Restaurant. It is so nice to go to a seafood restaurant in Denver. Even though the fish is not straight out of the water, Jax makes it taste wonderful.
Great Seafood!. Amazing! I have vistited the Denver location 3 times, and this was our first trip to Glendale, and we once again were delighted with the special, as well as the seasonal menu items! Coming from the East Coast, it is the one place we can get quality seafood!
Very popular place. I had the best crab cake I have ever eaten there. They also were generous and let us taste several sparkling wines before we made a decision. During peak hours - which seems to be almost all the time - the place is quite loud since there are a lot of people in a relatively small space enjoying the delicious food.
Upscale Happy Hour. This stylish seafood restaurant, with its open kitchen and multi level seating, has a popular Happy Hour, with tapas sized seafood offerings, and oysters you can order for $1.25 apiece. It is all rather posh. More importantly, the food is delicious. Service is fast and friendly.
Food was very well presented and everything tasted great. We ordered appetizers from the happy hour menu and everything was very well described. Service was superb, thanks to Brittany our server as well as her other accomplices. Great alcohol selection, and they even comped our oysters since my brother was in military service dress.

The Lure platter from the raw bar was a good portion for 2, maybe 3. The squid salad and Caesar salads were good. The branzino is cooked wonderfully. Staff were great and listened to my allergies. A great evening and nice wine pairings.

Ryan!!! Exceptional service and the food... Delicious. I had the best of both worlds this trip. Oysters on the half and a beautifully cooked NY Strip. Never thought arugula would complement the steak so well- but it knocked it out of the park. I could have done without the fries- weird pairing. Thanks also to Colleen and the oyster prep guy - Tanner! I appreciated his descriptive and sincere desire to educate the consumer. It's hard not to enjoy good food with family- but the staff helped make this place feel more at home.
Great place if you are looking for a comfy hang out. We sat outside and the atmosphere was incredible. Great selection of Oysters and there are a nice variety of main entries. I had the halibut and my date had the tuna (hers was better) all in all well worth the visit. Our server was AMAZING!

Come for the rooftop or hang around the bar. Oysters are pricey but this is in Denver not on any coast. Service is good. Convenient to hotels nearby or the Cherry Creek trail.
It has been years since I have been to Jax and never at this location. I got peel and eat shrimp and a half dozen oysters to start. Also ordered a cocktail that was mostly ice, so on my second drink, I switched to a martini type drink so there would be more liquid. I also got the tuna poke. I enjoyed the meal.
They said their rooftop will open next week. Happy hour up there might be something to try.
Jax has only gotten better with time. Bryan our waiter was amazing and provided some of the best service I’ve ever had at Jax. All the food was delicious. The risotto was out of this world good and the steak was seasoned to perfection. The emersum oysters were so fresh we couldn’t stop ordering them. Thank you Bryan for making our birthday dinner an experience to remember!
Now this is seafood! Great Oyster bar with the best seafood! Caviar is also on the menu with an extensive wine list. Tuna poke and apps were top notch. Thank you ryan the bartender for the great service!
Made a reservation for a nice dinner out after doing a little research. This location had plenty of tables but I was glad I had called as it was pretty crowded on a Friday night.
We were seated promptly and started out with a dozen oysters. They had quite a selection available so we had 4 different types, and I wish I had written them down as 2 were good and 2 were just OK. We do remember that their "house" oyster was one of the OK ones. But overall was pretty good.
I tried their gumbo which was a little too dark and salty for my taste, and followed up with their Sole and some Scallops. The Sole was OK and the Scallops were very good. Overall I'm givint it 4 stars. The service was very professional, friendly, and prompt even with all the people there. There is plenty of parking around though you may have to use the underground garage.
