4.4 | immersive environment, good service, creative and tasty food. Beckon is definitely a great food experience in Denver with the courses being quite thoughtful. They were able to accommodate a wide range of allergies for folks in our party while not missing a best on flavor. They also were able to provide a strong alcoholic and non alcoholic experience. There is a bit more they could do on consistency across the plates for portion of each ingredient, especially if going for additional stars. Service was very attentive and welcoming. Will definitely be back.

We had a amazing experience at Beckon. I booked it initially for an anniversary back in Aug but some family emergency came up in the middle of our meal and we had to leave halfway. Because the meal was prepaid, beckon was kind enough to refund us in full credit so we can come back to enjoy a full course this time. How sweet and considerate of them. We came back in Nov to celebrate my boyfriends birthday, and the food and service was impeccable. Andrew took good care of us and everything was perfect. We couldn’t be more appreciated for the whole experience.

Please let me first start with if I could give Beckon 10 stars, I absolutely would. My partner and I went for her birthday, and from the moment we walked in to the moment we left, we felt so welcomed. The food was delicious. The flavors, the wine pairings, all were fabulous. We sat in a room with quite a few other people, however we still got a very personalized, one on one experience. I feel like the staff service can either make or break an experience, and they absolutely made it. Many of the staff members stopped by to wish my partner a happy birthday, so sweet. The entire staff seemed very happy to be there. This was absolutely a wonderful experience that we will never ever forget. Thank you, Beckon!

Brought my partner here for her birthday. She had wanted to try it since it was the first resturant in Denever to get a star. I knew it would be perfect for her because she does not enjoy drinking alcohol and they have a unique non alcoholic drink pairing which I have not seen at other Resturants. The whole chefs table experience is reasonable for the average Michelin star and adding the caviar experience was not a price gouge. So I added both to the dinner. We arrived and were warmly greeted and frustrate to our seat. The chefs table fits around 20 people. The staff were extremely knowledgeable and friendly, and explained to us about every dish and how was Scandinavian inspired. My favorite dish was the ice cream mashed potatoes and don’t knock it till you try it. We never felt like we waited too long for the next course and we never felt rushed. The whole experience lasted a little over three hours and we had the best time. They did a beautiful birthday celebration at the end, and really made it a wonderful evening for both of us. We would be interested in going back and eating in the dining room sometime in the future.

Goodness where do I begin?! Personally, I believe most of the bad reviews in times past were mostly by people who were impossible to please or people just "spamming" the restaurant's reputation. This was 10 stars out of 5!!!! I was in Denver for work, wanted to treat myself and did my research. I had no problem pre-paying for the meal. Making the reservation and having made a couple calls to the restaurant beforehand - no issues. Staff was professional on the phone and via email. The experience begins once you enter the gate: unique outdoor and indoor decor ("lunar" & nordic themes for the food), professionally dressed staff, firepit seating, other outdoor seating and well-manicured plants. Inside, the ambiance is cozy, romantic, welcoming etc. While the wall paint is dark and lighting is recessed, it's complimented with lots of candles. The dining experience is 2-3 hours. There are 8-10 courses ranging from starters, seafood, bread, meat/protein, palate cleanser, desserts and sweets. Each course is well-timed, unique and profoundly delicious. You get to see your food being prepared and can interact with staff. Although the kitchen is nearby, you won't get overheated. There were probably 12-16 patrons/couples seated in my section but it doesn't get overwhelmingly loud. Background music is not too loud and compliments the ambiance. I also enjoyed seeing the chefs and waitstaff working as a cohesive team. There was no disrespect or discord as they pushed tickets, plated courses etc; very professional operation. Different chefs will thoroughly and warmly explain each course. Hosts and waitstaff go above & beyond to make you feel comfortable and ensure you have what you desire e.g. drinks, more napkins etc. These were the best cocktails I've ever had in my life and I'm not one to exaggerate. I ordered a drink off the menu and then the bartender accomodated my own request for a Mai Tai. The meats are prepared on the rarer side but they had no problem cooking them longer for me. I legitimately have no complaints and have yet to give a restaurant a perfect review until now. $400 spent and worth every dollar. I'll definitely come back on my next trip to Denver! There were a few courses I forgot to take a picture of. It's smaller portions but I assure you you'll be full before dessert!

10/10 exceptional food and service. The attention to detail was AMAZING. I could not find a single flaw. My husband and I have eaten all over the world and this was by far the best restaurant we have ever been. Jake our sommelier was so knowledgeable and friendly. Thank you!!

So far, I've been to Beckon 4 times. They change their menu every quarter, so every experience is new and exciting. Beckon's quality and hospitality is probably the best I've ever experienced, even better than Marcus (**) in London or Alinea (***) in Chicago. There was one visit I was unable to have the wine pairing because I was on post-surgery meds. The head bartender came out and made special non-alcoholic cocktails for me that paired with some dishes because he didn't want me missing out on the full experience. I don't think I've ever had anyone do that for me. Recently, they were just awarded a Michelin star, which is something they very much deserved. I enjoyed talking with Ami and Raymond (been here so much that they remember us haha), and hearing stories from the sommelier, Ben (great mustache). I am looking forward to experiencing their next menu next quarter and can't wait to see what fun and new dishes they come up with. (Also, thank you , Allison! Look for my email!)

Fantastic. Incredibly well balanced within each dish and across all dishes. Solid Michelin one but probably closer to a two on food. Price reflects the quality but still a little on the high side. Wine pairings have room for improvement.

It felt like we were special guests at a truly curated, and intimate experience. Just the best of everything: food, vibe, atmosphere and community. Attention to detail was ridiculous! Staff and food set the bar higher than you could imagine.

Food is subjective, but in my view Beckon is probably the best restaurant in Colorado. We have had the privilege of eating at quite a few of the two and three Michelin star restaurants in the States. Beckon is a Michelin quality establishment, certainly as it relates to food and service. The courses are expertly prepared and plated, and the drink pairings (especially the non-alcoholic drinks from the Garden) are exceptional. The staff is knowledgeable, friendly, and attentive. There are two potential negatives that you should know in advance - First, if you want a quiet and romantic setting you need to reserve a spot on the patio. The inside dining room is a fairly loud environment, and not conducive to a romantic setting - it's hard to have a conversation. Second, the neighborhood is very popular and Beckon does not have it's own parking lot - we ended up having to park 3 blocks away. Not a big deal in the summer, but something to consider if weather is less than perfect. If you are a foodie or love fine dining, Beckon is your best bet in Denver.
