Would rate 0 stars if possible. Was seated at a table (no more than 10 other guests in dining room) sat for 15 minutes with no one even taking my drink order. Short staffed is no excuse as staff had plenty of time to stand around in groups and talk. I decided to visit the establishment in hopes that it would be better than it's word if mouth reputation. Apparently the "ney sayers" are right.

Took family here on vacation trip. Food was good and service was friendly. Location was dated and worn out. Sign out front was shattered and we almost drove past it.

Frisch's has really good food with a large selection of meals. I am sad that they are not doing their salad bar anymore due to low staffing.

The service was terrible. The food was hot and fresh. The restaurant was not very clean and the bathrooms were discussing!! I wouldn't recommend this restaurant.

We arrived around 12:45 on a Sunday. We were promptly seated and offered adequate time to look over the menu. Both of us ordered a 1/4 burger platter (one with bacon). The tossed salad was a nice sized portion. Both platters were received and sadly the fries were barely warm; one was missing the second side. I question the charge for 2 small slices of bacon. There was a nice amount of mayonnaise in the bacon cheeseburger. Our experience was ok. Definitely not an experience making me want to return the next time in town.

Took my daughter today was hopeful since there was alot of cars that it wasn't as bad as I remember. Well I ordered strips with onion rings and broccoli as a side. She ordered fish and onion rings and Mac and cheese. We had to wait for the Mac and cheese which was underdone. Both our onion rings were burnt on alot of spots so I still tried some of mine just to bite into a hair cooked in on the second one. When asked at the register if it was ok I politely answered my true thoughts. She went and said something to a manager I'm assuming and he shook his head in a no manner and she preceeded to ring. Us up. So add that along with Bob Evans not a great place to try in defiance ohio.
