Unassuming from the outside, wonderful on the inside! The interior decor elevates it above a neighborhood bar and the size lends itself to an intimate drink or get-together with friends. I was introduced to R Bar at a private party and it is PERFECT for a group of 30-50 for a birthday party, shower, retirement party, etc. Expect to see the owners on site, making sure everything runs smoothly. This place is a gem!

I was looking forward to the new owners doing something great with this place but instead their new cocktail menu leaves a lot to be desired for an upscale bar. If you want a glass of wine, it's an okay place but beyond that look elsewhere.

We sat in their private room with all of the wine bottles which to have the room we would have to spend at least $200 which was no problem because there was 6 of us and we were ready to party. This is definitely a place for higher end drinking. If you want a place to get a beer and watch a ball game do not go here. It is great for a date or nice night on the town. Service was great and the owner came in later and suggested some nice bottles of wine we were treated awesome, but our tab was also over $550 so of course we were treated nice. Great place will go back.

My boyfriend and I went to R bar and had a wonderful experience. We met the owner, Kevin and his wife Lindsey, who were an absolute joy to meet and talk to. We would highly recommend this bar, not only because of the great drinks made by the bartenders, but because of the overall welcome feeling!

Love the decor, love the selection, love the pineapple vanilla martini. Love the live music. The only thing I find that myself and other people don't care for is the owner (I think or perhaps he's an employee) boosting about Trump...very loudly and in a very obnoxious way. I may have backed Trump myself...but the way this guy talks about him is just not palatable. They need to realize they are in business to serve alcohol and encourage people to relax and enjoy their establishment....not to preach politics and alienate customers.
