I went in today with my father and son. None of us had ever been there and we were expecting just a regular old lunch. We were very pleasantly surprised. I was not expecting to have the best lunch I've had in a long time! The Reuben eggrolls were outstanding! The burgers were great and the fries were excellent.
We had such a great experience during our first time at Hornets Nest! Kevin, our server, was efficient and polite, without being overbearing. The food was outstanding! My french dip was tender and juicy, and the onion rings were out of this world!!!! We will be back!!! My only regret is that they don't have local delivery. My school staff would certainly order frequently!
Definitely a nice little place. Great food and a nice local sports bar feel to it.
The cheese twigs were really good and was glad to try both sauces. Marinara has always been a staple to me, but the raspberry sauce tasted interesting but good.
The Cheesesteak was good, but the cheese had a bit of a horse radish-esque taste to it. The fries were decent.
Service was a little slow, but I can understand for a small restaurant like this, but the people were very friendly there.
Super friendly staff and all the food smelled amazing. We got the chicken Alfred and fish and chips. Both were super delicious and tasted very fresh. Love how supportive they are to the community as well. Can't wait to go back and try more.
I’ve heard a lot about this place and today it was finally time to check it out! And I can honestly say that I had some very delicious food for a good price! I got the Louisiana Chicken Pasta which was very tasty and also came as a big enough portion to have a whole other meal for leftovers.
My partner ordered the Jambalaya which was also good. He would have wished for some kinda tomato paste mix in the rice instead of just plain white rice, but it was still delicious.
All in all, good experience!
We LOVE this place! The food is always exceptional and the service… AMAZiNG! Every server and bartender have been, but I think Alyssa is my favorite! Highly, highly recommend! 😍

Excellent (LARGE!) sandwiches, great menu with lots of options, great value, cozy environment, superior service! *Best Fried Pickles I’ve ever had: Jumbo pickle slices with a light, crispy coating, and seasoned Ranch dressing! **Bonus seating in cute, dog-friendly patio with a TV!
The Bourbon BBQ wings, Irish fries, and Moscow mule were great. The young Lady at the bar, provided excellent service. It was definitely a great meal before heading to a Thursday night high school football game.
Found this little gem before going to Home Depot. Been there twice now and plan on going back some more. Food was delicious and so were the desserts (we loved the eclair cake!). Beer selection is great and the service is friendly.
Surprisingly fresh, excellent food for a sports bar! The cheese twigs, Caesar salad, sushi nachos and crab flatbread were all superb! As was the speed and quality of service. Also a wonderful selection of beer on tap, and free tasters.
My wife and were in the area and stopped by for lunch. We absolutely loved it. The place is decorated in the high schools athletic jerseys which was a nice touch. The food was great. And our waitress Alyssa was fantastic. If we're even back in Damascus we'll definitely stop into the Hornets Nest for a bite to eat.
I have been dying to try a new restaurant after my husband and I were fully vaccinated and we chose Hornets Nest. We did not regret it. In fact, we're already planning a second visit. The food's delicious and the service was fast.
