The Music Cafe

The blueberry balsamic vinaigrette dressing was so good I could have eaten it on everything. I choose to enjoy it on a salad with nuts and the tuna salad. Delicious food. They seemed a little slow yet the server took a long time to bring our drinks out, get our order out, and finally bring us the check. Guessing maybe she was newer-? The back patio area was lovely and the weather was fair though so it certainly was not so bad. No major complaints. Looking forward to coming here again soon.

Full disclosure: I used to work here, and I wanted to write this review as a way to thank the owner Randy and his wife for giving me a job. They treat their employees right. Short Review: Great place to bring you family and friends for good sandwiches and weekend music. Can't beat the price. Long review: I have to say, I have worked in a lot of restaurants and bars, and this one was the best by far. The staff all have good attitudes and always try to form a good rapport with the customers. They are always extremely friendly and helpful to whomever walks in. The food is great for what you pay, honestly, its the best sandwich/cafe in the area. You simply wont find a better place for the price. You could pay 1.5x the price in DC and not find something as good as this. They never disappoint. The music is just an added bonus, the acts there are always fun. Can't say I am into all the music that they brought in, but the musicians seemed practiced in the art of live performing.

From the moment I walked in, the feeling of welcome was evident. The service is fantastic. The food and coffee are great. It has been compared to Barking Mad in Gaithersburg, I feel this is an injustice to The Music Cafe as it is steps above the other. Handicapped accessible and parking. Music on Friday and Saturday nights. Kid friendly. Just an awesome experience and worth the time to get there.

I was recently introduces to this hidden gem! I never noticed it, as the location is a bit nondescript, nestled between a veterinarian and a bank, but my fiancee introduced me when he invited me here for the absolute best pumpkin spice latte ever! I love the atmosphere and vibe here, so I came back to have a breakfast sandwich, and of course another latte. Absolutely delicious! The people who work here are so friendly and the service is outstanding. I can't wait to come back to enjoy some of their many events and to hear some live music!
