I love that this place has the option of making a bowl or eating with naan, and that is has an option for vegetarians. Very simple menu, and you choose your own toppings.
So this is a build-your-own sandwich / bowl kind of place: nice selection at the salad bar for toppings but I know it's not a thing for some diners.
Falafel: under-flavored if you are an ethic foods seeker. I have it in a bowl for the toppings I added helped with the flavor but they are bland with a hint of black pepper.
Shawarma: lamb was nicely cooked but the again kind of tame in the flavor department. I had this as a small sandwich: pita is on the thick side about the thickness of thin toast bread.
Fries: well, they are fries. Nice mayo and curried ketchup dipping sauces.
Overall it's ok: if you're going to be in the area already and all the other dining spots around are packed come here. Just don't make a special trip.
Went to this new place after a few drinks in Deep Ellum and what a wonderful surprise. So good!! Everything was so fresh and tasty. Service was outstanding and restaurant was spotless. A great new choice for the area that I will go back to again and again. Oh a the best brownie I have ever had!!!!!
Quick, great tasting food option. Falafel and or Shawarma in a pita or bowl with an extensive topping bar. Dutch French fries also available. Good selection of local brews.
Fantastic food at a reasonable price, great customer service and a friendly atmosphere, what more could you ask for? The location is convenient if you're near downtown, right across from bomb factory and usually has parking easily available even at busier times. The staff is wonderful and friendly, always helpful if you're new to the process too. Portions are about the right size, small if you're semi hungry and large if you really want to be filled up. Can also choose to get a bowl which is easier to eat but the bread is delicious so I go for the pita usually. A lovely place I go to at least once a week!!
I was really surprised at how good this place was! You place your order for falafel or lamb shwarma and they fry the falafel after you order so it is always perfectly crunchy. Then there is a long bar of toppings to choose from. Everything I have tried has been great, it's definitely the best falafel I've had in Dallas.
Great place for a Mediterranean fix! In addition to falafel and shwarma, they have amazing fries! Open late, so you can stop by after enjoying a show at one of the great deep ellum venues and several other places nearby in case you are the only one that wants it in your group they have choices as well!
Great fast casual restaurant in Deep Ellum. Good beer selection and a toppings bar for your pita sandwich or bowl that will knock your socks off. Bathrooms are transgender friendly (with awesome signs that tell you to go somewhere else if you have a problem with that) with bidets too!
Outstanding falafel! The 'salad' and condiment bar was very unique. You can make your falafel how you want. Peanut sauce was amazing. And it's open late right by the Bomb Factory
Great Falafel and excellent Shwarma, plus they have a build your own toppings bar, with pickled turnips, baba ganoush, hummus, various salads, dips, etc, and you can add as much as you want. PLUS! THE women's bathroom has a Bidet in it! My nether regions have never felt so clean! Don't be shy, try it out! !!
The shawarma is more to American tastes. The lamb tastes so good with the garlic cream sauce. The falafel wasn't to my taste but it's outside my usual diet.
My favorite place to get falafel, and I am always on the hunt for places with falafel. Their baba ganoush is also top-tier. Fries and falafel are made in carrot oil, and are very vegan-friendly. Atmosphere is friendly and fast. They are open late so stop in for a late-night Deep Ellum tasty meal.
Excellent falafel or schwarma with a self serve toppings bar. Crispy delicious fries with an assortment of sauces to satisfy every palate. Fresh and delicious. Beer, wine, kombucha also available.
