Nice bldg & atmosphere. Steak was not cooked the way i wanted & the sides shouldn't be mentioned because they were more like tiny decoration. Cheesecake was delicious, so were the cocktails. Looking forward to trying sushi night on Fridays! They offer military discounts which is a plus. Good looking bar selection plus tv for sports.

Good ambience and great service. We went here for our anniversary dinner, and were very pleased with everything we ordered for the night! (See photos) They have a wide selection of wines, of which we loved the Tenuta Guado Al Taso. Additionally, it was fairly easy to secure a reservation on a weekend!

Jasper's is the place to be. You have to add this restaurant on your "places to try" list. Jasper's Uptown could become your favorite. The ambience is amazing and the staff is ready to make your experience exceptional.

This review was written for Abacus. Not Jaspers. I assume Jaspers has taken over Anacus, but I don’t think it’s the same menu.
Came here with two other couples for the first time last night. Overall, we had a very good experience and an enjoyable meal.
For the most part, I’d give five stars to everything we ate. The duck special was my favorite of the night. The Picasso roll was fresh and delicious. I loved the cafe brûlée dessert. The fries were a pleasantly decadent surprise. I liked the risotto, but probably wouldn’t order it again. The Brussels sprouts were great.
I ordered the Secret Garden cocktail. It was delicious perfection. I probably wouldn’t ever order another cocktail there so long as that was on the menu.
I did find some things about the service odd. It took awhile to get going. The host does not provide the menus. We had to wait for the server who greeted us first and brought drink menus later. Only it was one cocktail and one wine menu for a table of six. This wasn’t enough. We really needed one or two more of each. We were there about thirty minutes before we got out drinks. I wish we had received drunk menus upon sitting down so we could have ordered faster. BUT once we did get our drinks, everything ran super smoothly. I liked we weren’t rushed. Everything was perfectly timed. In some ways, it felt very European as our meal took about 2.5 hours. Our server was very nice and did a great job overall. It really was just the first thirty minutes I found odd. Luckily, we were in great company so it didn’t bother me more than a passing 🤔.
The ambience of the restaurant was nice if a little dated. The restaurant as a whole lacked the modern feel I’m used to. Nothing wrong with that necessarily, as the food has certainly kept up, but I think it could use a bit of updating in the decor and atmosphere department.
Overall, it was a great experience and I’d come back if I were feeling like a splurge. Which, on that topic, I will say I feel it should be labeled a $$$ restaurant and not a $$. From price point to atmosphere, it did not feel like most $$ restaurants I frequent.

We loved coming when it was Abacus, so we were excited something took over the space again. The interior doesn’t feel too different, and some menu items and staff are the same. We started with the chips, hamachi, and lobster shooters for appetizers. LOVE LOVE LOVE, all of them! The curry sake the lobster shooters were in was great. Our entrees were all great as well, 2 kinds of sushi (don’t remember what), the venison, and another meat entree (don’t remember which, either). Food was great, service was great, drinks were great... will be adding it to our usual restaurants we visit regularly!

For a truly incredible meal Abacus is a must do in Dallas! I've been to many Michelin star rated restaurants around the country and I'll put Abacus up against any of them. It's my go to for a consistently amazing experience. Chef Chad Bowden is the real deal in the kitchen putting out creative and inspiring dishes that are spot each and every time. Recent visits have included Certified A4 Wagyu Toriyama, (aka meat butter), in addition to his Wagyu Tenderloin, rockstar sushi rolls, and the always a must lobster shooters. You'll be selling yourself short if you don't check into Abacus for your next night out for an amazing dining experience.

This place is so fancy. Definitely suitable for a fancy night out. The food was absolutely delicious. As a picky water I usually don't like everything on my plate. But this surpassed my expectations. Every course was delicious and I enjoyed every aspect of it. The food was nicely portioned across the various courses. This is definitely a hit spot in Dallas.

Food was excellent. Different flavors and not just another high end restaurant. Menu options give you a chance to try something different and amazing!! Service was great too, and you can tell the chefs took pride in the dishes they were putting out.
