Kookie Haven

First time customer! I chose this place based on my craving for dessert and the fact they have maintained 5 star rating. I came to find out if it’s as good as people say. Coming in ready to be the one to say “aha”, I think the cake had something else in store for me. Drove 35mins for this. Here are my pics and review: Cake: I got the Carrot, Chocolate, Strawberry, Red Velvet, Italian Cream and Wedding cake. (Half a dozen) My best friend and I sat down with our forks to begin our taste test as soon as we got home. Each bite was magical, a burst of moist flavors that taste so fresh and rich. The icing is the perfect texture and tastes like the baking gods whipped them up themselves! Just as I thought it doesn’t get any better, they have elements of their flavor embedded in them like the carrot cake...has carrots. Omg. They were literally all amazing. I can’t even explain it, it tastes so good it’s like you just have to eat it to understand and 1 bite explains it all. To sum it up honestly. Whoever baked the cakes I had the afternoon of 7/17 made it with pure love ❤️ Building: The place is actually pretty nice in there like a rustic modern decor design and feel. Natural bright lights from the street but still cool in there. If not for COVID I would actually sit in there. A vibe Employees: They were all upbeat and very polite. They worked diligently and were attentive. Overall, I am so HAPPY I promise I am that I drove 35 minutes, passed up all the other bakeries just to give you a try. You are my Dallas Favorite cake spot now, hands down! Keep this up.

My daughter purchased the wedding cake cup cake. What I found really cute I was given a nickname for my order “Mrs Kookie Dough”lol The taste is creamy not dry in short it was Delicious. The staff is so nice and helpful. All your options are explained to you. Very welcoming and clean esthetic. I would recommend Kookie Haven to everyone.

Supporting another #BlackOwnedBusiness I went to Oak Cliff in Dallas and tried some amazing desserts from @kookiehaven . If you know me, you know I have a HUGE sweet tooth. Such a beautiful establishment with many delicious treats that will have you coming back for more. They have cakes, brownies, cookies, and so much more. Great customer service and friendly faces will be there to greet you. On this visit I tried a Wedding Cake Stuffer which consists of wedding cake baked into a sugar cookie with salted caramel icing and a caramel drizzle! Listen baby, I got my ENTIRE life with this dessert! I also tried the Turtle Brownie which is nothing to play with. You gotta try this place out and it's great to support them during these difficult times!

This was our first time coming here and was recommended by a friend. Loved the decor and the chill atmosphere. The employees were super friendly, helpful, and patient. They do have samples of the day which was awesome so that I can taste it to make sure I like it. We ordered the strawberry, red velvet, and Italian Cream cupcakes. The consensus on the strawberry was that it was really sweet on the buttercream icing. The cake on all three were moist. The red velvet was also good but sweet. The Italian Cream was my fav out of the three, it was not too sweet and had a good combo of flavors. We also ordered two cookies which were really good, classic choc chip and choc chip with nuts.

Very very sweet staff! They gave me tasty free samples . Amazing staff and amazing cookies! I love the atmosphere. The people there have kind souls. The cookies and cakes are delicious. A sweet little gem this place is... I was impressed by the overall ambience of Kookie Haven. Smiling faces and the staff was very informative regarding the menu. Great cookies place.

So I was first introduced to Kookie Haven at the 2018 Taste of Oak Cliff but I wasn't able to try any of their tasty products because they were ALL GONE. I then knew I had to go to the source and I'm so happy I did. There were so many choices that made it hard to choose but I did go with the Tuxedo square and it was so good. Will definitely be back. They also have vegan options during the week.
