Edith's cafe is quite well known for the brunch but the place in Allen is quiet, good for the coffee time as well :)

Our first experience here was for my cousin’s baby shower. It is an adorable location with such a cute set up for private parties. She had a Tea party theme along with delicious tea sandwiches. They made a special tray for my daughter to enjoy on her own. We will have to make a trip back up for lunch on another occasion.
Today I had my first restaurant experience in almost 2 years and I’m so glad I landed on this place for lunch! I had the best server ever! John did a great job at making sure we had refills at all times and made sure we were comfortable! It was a fairly busy afternoon but he managed to exceed expectations. The food was fabulous as well. Compliments to the chef! If you want to guarantee super service, ask for John.
We had such a great experience! It was our (mine and my boyfriend’s) first time here and we were very hesitant. We hoped it was not all fluff, and it proved to be better than we expected! We had gotten a few martinis, mimosa’s, a charcuterie board, pome frites, sweet potato fries, and a strawberry shortcake in the form of a rose. This cafe blew me out of the water, I was so impressed! I cannot wait to experience high tea next time! We have also taken a bag of caramelized pecans that we had a sample of on the charcuterie board.
