We came for my grandmother's birthday dinner and the food was amazing! The best was Placido's tortilla soup! Our server was great and our food came out very quickly. We will definitely be back!

As a resident of this building, I'm happy to find that this restaurant is pretty solid now. They also offer a great deal on margaritas for happy hour, especially on Tuesdays. I've visited at several points since they opened early 2015 and it took quite awhile for them to develop a good menu and pricing structure. I like to get a burrito or chimichanga drowned in queso and a margarita on the side.
Also, as an aside, in case you think the place looks abandoned from the outside, look for the "Open" sign in the window to be lit up. The place always looks closed and you can't tell by looking at it because they had to tint the windows nighttime-dark to stave off the evening sun.
This Primo's moved from Uptown to the Design District and it was a great move! They have an amazing banquet room! Everything inside is super nice! You feel like you're at a 4 star restaurant. I had my birthday party in the banquet room and we had a great fajita buffet with guacamole and queso and even shrimp ceviche! They have great frozen or rocks margaritas and a bunch of craft beers. My friends and family loved it! After most of my guests left, my boyfriend and I hung out on the couches near the front door and had a few more drinks. Oh and valet is complimentary! It was a great celebration without totally killing my pocket! Also, they informed me that if we didn't want Tex-Mex that we could still use their banquet room and order off of a separate New-American style catering menu. There's not much more I can say. I had a great time and they accommodated my every want and need. Thanks Primo's!
Primo's has delicious, authentic Tex-Mex food and great drinks. I went on a Tuesday to take advantage of $2 Tuesday specials: $2 Margaritas, $7 All-You-Can-Eat Tacos, Live DJ. Amazing crowd and we had a lot of fun. Highly recommended!
My family and I have gone there twice. Both times the food and service was amazing. No problems with food, no mix ups on orders, and no problems with any of the employees. In all, I think this is a great place to eat with any family or friends.
The atmosphere was wonderful the food was great but the only thing that my girl had a problem with was a margarita she said it wasn't strong enough. Other than that we enjoyed ourself
This was a go to regular when it was on McKinney. I'm happy to see it back I. A new location with the same great food. Service is good but the deserts here are GREAT!!
$2 tacos and $2 Margaritas my new favorite spot to hit on Tuesday... the staff is so friendly if your looking into going "GO"!
