I stumbled upon this gem while at good 2 go taco and since it was morning I decided to have coffee with my breakfast tacos. I'm a "fancy" coffee drinker and I every sort of flavor under the sun to make it enjoyable for me. I got the latte per the barista's recommendation and I loved it. No added flavors or sugar, it was just darn good coffee served the way it's supposed to be. Presentation was also on point which helped to add to the experience.
This small coffee shop shares the same location as Good 2 Go Taco in East Dallas. We love it's Columbia and Guatemala (red blend) roasts. It's a great place to grab a coffee if you're near White Rock Lake or ever in the area.
Homemade Extracts, anybody?. Very good, high quality coffees. They make their own extracts rather than using overly sugared syrups. I recommend the vanilla latte, it's a bit expensive (five bucks) but totally worth it!
Good. I have been buying beans from Cultivar for a while now and have bought a couple of espresso drinks from the bar as well. I've been to quite a few coffee shops and tried a plethora of beans from quite a few roasters. This place hangs in there with the best of them. Very good stuff and probably my favorite spot for coffee in Dallas.
Good cup o' joe.. Wow, that review with the pretentious rambling is tremendously annoying. All I can say is, this is a great little coffee shop located in the same space as Good 2 Go Taco. Both are fantastic establishments.
And if I can be snobby too, I'll just say that I've had quality coffee in DFW, Austin, San Francisco, and Portland, and Cultivar was right up there with them. The flavor was very bold and fresh tasting (I think he grinded the beans after we ordered).
P.S. That snobby review of Cultivar was from the same person who badmouthed Good 2 Go Taco for being "too Austin". Now I hate to get involved in online squabbles (they are immensely childish), but Good 2 Go is one of the best things to his the metroplex, so if someone can't recognize it... their loss. Plus, there is plenty of room in this giant metroplex for more funky, Austinish establishments, especially ones that serve amazing tacos and coffee.
I like it. I have been there several times and enjoy the place. Maybe I have decrepit taste, not shacking up with a Roast Master and all, but I know what I like. This includes the friendly people behind the counter.
Perfect spot for a quick bite or catch up with a loved one/friend. Cute interior and friendly staff.
We have visited a couple of times and enjoyed each visit. Coffee is always excellent. The lavender latte and espresso are favorites. For food, we enjoy the pancakes and any biscuit sandwich. Everything looks great and fresh.
One of the better tasting coffee shops in Dallas. Pricey, but worth it.
I usually order a vanilla latte with oat milk. If I get it hot I spend the extra $ to add the honey whip on top! 🤌🏼 FYI if you like your coffee HOT (not iced) I suggest you tell them when ordering. They normally make them warm (not hot HOT) so be aware. The staff has always been super nice and not intimidating.
I like to get The Local Honey as a latte & the almond croissant was delicious. The matcha latte was good as well.
It's a cute shop. Coffee was good. Like that they offer special seasonal drinks. The vanilla latte was really good, not just your typical plain vanilla. The honey whip was amazing! Food was good to. Our breakfast sandwich was just greasy.
A great coffee spot near White Rock Lake. I would recommend having an iced Local Oat. The two guys that were working there were super personable. I will definitely come back any time I’m in the area!
Super duper crowded on a Saturday morning but most importantly, good coffee. I had the Vanilla Latte with Oat milk and it did not disappoint in flavor. Minus one star: latte was "just" warm not hot. So I would suggest to request ahead of time if you like your coffee hot like I do.
A shot of espresso, a pour over, and a sparkling water to cleanse the palette. Probably the smoothest, most delicious shot of espresso I’ve ever had. The typically bitter bite that comes in most shots wasn’t there. It was smooth but still had a little tinge or bite at the end of the shot.
Expertly crafted Kalita Wave-based pour over was excellent, smooth, lightly sweet and fruity. I got the Ethiopian and would buy a bag of beans if I didn’t have more coffee than I could drink in a reasonable amount of time at the house already. One of my favorite pour overs in Dallas.
Great, friendly staff. One gentleman offered the sparkling water free of charge.
We used the Cultivar Coffee Cart at our wedding at the Trinity River Audubon Center and it was such a highlight at our reception! Guests still talk about how amazing it was to have the coffee cart! We were able to serve everything from hot/iced lattes, drip coffee, iced coffee, tea, hot chocolate and flavors!
The baristas were friendly, energetic, fun, and made amazing coffee drinks for all our guests! Thank you for helping to curate a fantastic addition to our special day; we love coffee and Cultivar!
The Friendly and informative staff made ordering a breeze. The summer drinks are amazing!
Honestly the best food Dallas has to offer. So good. 10/10…. I don’t even write reviews I just feel like anyone visiting Dallas should know this.
