Fantastic BBQ. The brisket was so tender and juicy! And let’s talk about these onion rings. 😱 everything was great and I loved that it was a causal atmosphere. They also have a fully stocked bar with margaritas and even a spicy one!

This place is awesome! My wife, daughter and I drove down from Little Rock, Arkansas to spend a few days and went here on a Tuesday night and they had just about sold out of everything by the time we got there. The guy at the register told us that we needed to come back around 3-4 to make sure we could get what we wanted. So that’s what we did, we came back the next day and got brisket, ribs, pulled pork and burnt ends. Let me tell you it was well worth the wait. The burnt ends were amazing! The Jalapeño cheddar sausage was perfect and the brisket and pulled pork were cooked perfectly! 10/10 will definitely be back next time we are in the area.

I love this place ❤️ This was my first time going and I definitely enjoyed the atmosphere... Food was really good, customer service was amazing and the location is very nice... I tried the two meat plate with brisket, and bacon burnt ends that are so delicious... I picked the greens and cole slaw as my two sides, they were very tasteful... For the dessert I had to go with the peach cobbler which was good...

First time here. The young man at the counter was extremely helpful. I got the brisket plate with two sides; Mac & cheese and beans. The brisket was falling apart as i ate it. Man it was good! It’s def on my list to return.

Cool place. Brisket was very tender, came apart easy. I would like to see a heavier bark, but that's prob my CenTex preference coming out. Green Chile Mac and Cheese was phenomenal. Best I have ever had!

Wow! This place is yummy! I'm not a huge brisket fan but I thought I'd give it a try. We got both the slices and chopped kind and...WOW! The meat was so tender and flavourful! The rub they use is so tasty we ended up buying some. We also got pulled pork, which was very good but did need a little BBQ sauce. Now let's talk about the sides! The Green Chile Mac & Cheese is delicious! Has a nice kick, but not too much. The coleslaw was good as well, but our favorite was the Twice Baked Potato Salad. The amount of flavor, textures and serving size was perfect!! The onion rings... not so much. If you're looking for some good BBQ, this is definitely the place! We'll be back on Thursday for tacos and $5 margaritas!

I felt it was a little overpriced. Thought the was was good. I had the Funky Burger and queso/chips with a side of burnt bacon ends. My bestie had the Pitmaster and fries (homemade cut fresh). So when you get there, it looks nice. The staff were awesome, and the young lady who waited on us was so sweet. She went out of her way to answer questions(since this was our first time). Said she could change some items like instead of the jalapeño bread to regular bread. Everyone was busy and smiling, plus super friendly, which is awesome to see nowadays. She even made suggestions very helpful. They gave us our cups and a buzzer thing for when our food was ready. You service yourself with your drinks (which personally I like). And you have your condiments on the side. I did notice a loaf of bread in its bag just sitting there. I found it quite odd. Until I was looking around while we waited for our buzzer to go off. I noticed a gentleman with just a slab of meat. And went to the bread and got out his bread. So, I guess you make your own unless you are ordering a specific sandwich. That was definitely different. After our buzzer went off my bestie went and got our trays. The food looked great 👍🏼. We usually try ourselves forat then offer each other a taste specially when it a new place. So we both tried our queso and chips, best I've had. Chips fresh, and the queso wasn't too gredy or spicy. In the perfect pocket. And the burnt bacon ends. Melt in your mouth! We tried them with nothing great favorite melts. Then we tried it with a little queso wow!! Wow! Delicious. Then we tried with their in-house made BBQ sauce, home run there too. You get the tang, and the sweet with a small kickback of spice in the back of your throat is the best way to describe their in-house BBQ sauce. I wish I had gotten a brownie I saw for dessert. But, I was so full when I left I just didn't. If you are visiting the DFW Area or have a layover at Love Field Airport or live in the DFW area, you need to check this place out. It's across from the Love Field Airport enter on Mockingbird in Northwest Dallas.

Food is better than most. Service at the Dallas location had been less than stellar two times now. Forgot to make our order once and then didn't make my wife's order at all the second time. Recommend the Fort Worth locations instead.

Outstanding barbecue in a great atmosphere. Loved the brisket and Mac and cheese was addictive. The fries were surprisingly good. Great bbq beans.

Great spot to hit right before or after a flight at Love Field (directly across the street from main entrance). I had the jalapeño cheddar corn dog and brisket w/ green Chile Mac n cheese. I give the corn dog about an 8/10.. a little too much breading made it impossible to eat in typical fashion without unhinging my jaw. Very tasty though. They come out HOT so big careful. The brisket Mac will get a 10/10 in anybody’s book. And that’s tough because you have nail both items. The mac was super creamy and flavorful, the brisket… amazing. Atmosphere was very hip, clean, and guy who took order was super friendly and helpful. Well done Heims! Great experience!
