Amazing food and atmosphere. The tacos were out of this world. Looking for a fantastic drink- try the Mamba. Apparently, that is their signature drink. You won't be disappointed.
Definitely one of the best Mexican restaurants around. These guys aren’t afraid to make things spicy, and the prices are very reasonable. Food was excellent. Dining experience and service was also superb.
First time in Dallas. Just walked into this restaurant. Everything was great! We waited 30 minutes and it was worth it. Ordered the tacos recommended by the waiter, which tasted very good. My friend had the shrimp, which was also good. The only lowlight is that the seats are a bit narrow and the ground is not very clean.
Our friends told us we had to go to Mi Cocina’s in Highland Park Village (Dallas, TX) and now we know why! They picked us up downtown and we headed over to Highland Park Village. I think I stayed in the parking as long as we were in the restaurant - it is absolutely gorgeous and to see all the lights against the night sky was really beautiful (I could have stayed in the parking lot all night lol - it’s magical). ✨✨✨ We recommend a reservation or be prepared to line up. This place is busy and definitely worth the wait (If you have to be in line). Great food and drinks / their margaritas were flowing all night and we went back one more time before we left Dallas. We had an amazing time with friends and I could have stayed in the parking lot all evening and taken pictures of the gorgeous lights! A MUST SEE, TASTE, DO AND EXPERIENCE!!
We love Mi Cocina but especially love all the severs!! For dining in the first floor the absolute best is Sunny!! If you’re interested mainly in drinks then I’d suggest the upstairs Monkey Bar with Sanchez, Pancho and Christian!
I recently had the pleasure of dining at Mi Cocina restaurant, and I must say, it was an incredible experience from start to finish. The exceptional service provided by our waiter, JJ, truly made our evening memorable.
From the moment we stepped in, JJ greeted us with a warm smile and guided us to our table. He was incredibly attentive throughout our meal, ensuring that we had everything we needed and going above and beyond to make us feel welcomed.
Now, let's talk about the food. Every dish we ordered was simply outstanding. The flavors were perfectly balanced, and each bite was a burst of culinary delight. From appetizers to desserts, every item on the menu showcased the chef's passion for creating remarkable dishes.
I stopped here on my break, I usually go to a different location but the service was so great and fast I will now be making the drive here when I am in the mood for mi cocina. If you stop by ask for Orlando! He was very attentive and I never had to ask for anything twice. Truly the best service I've had in awhile!
Mama’s chicken tacos were delicious with a nice avocado salad. They’re famous margaritas are dangerous, two is the limit. Fajitas presentation was impressive. Mi Cocina always delivers, solid Tex-Mex when you’re in the mood.
Service was good, but food was okay.
This place is amazing! Make sure you get Kia as your waitress, she is amazing and one of the best waitresses I’ve had in awhile!! Such an awesome atmosphere overall!
