Definitely one of the best Mexican restaurants around. These guys aren’t afraid to make things spicy, and the prices are very reasonable. Food was excellent. Dining experience and service was also superb.

First time in Dallas. Just walked into this restaurant. Everything was great! We waited 30 minutes and it was worth it. Ordered the tacos recommended by the waiter, which tasted very good. My friend had the shrimp, which was also good. The only lowlight is that the seats are a bit narrow and the ground is not very clean.

Our friends told us we had to go to Mi Cocina’s in Highland Park Village (Dallas, TX) and now we know why! They picked us up downtown and we headed over to Highland Park Village. I think I stayed in the parking as long as we were in the restaurant - it is absolutely gorgeous and to see all the lights against the night sky was really beautiful (I could have stayed in the parking lot all night lol - it’s magical). ✨✨✨ We recommend a reservation or be prepared to line up. This place is busy and definitely worth the wait (If you have to be in line). Great food and drinks / their margaritas were flowing all night and we went back one more time before we left Dallas. We had an amazing time with friends and I could have stayed in the parking lot all evening and taken pictures of the gorgeous lights! A MUST SEE, TASTE, DO AND EXPERIENCE!!

We love Mi Cocina but especially love all the severs!! For dining in the first floor the absolute best is Sunny!! If you’re interested mainly in drinks then I’d suggest the upstairs Monkey Bar with Sanchez, Pancho and Christian!

From the moment we stepped in, JJ greeted us with a warm smile and guided us to our table. He was incredibly attentive throughout our meal, ensuring that we had everything we needed and going above and beyond to make us feel welcomed.

I stopped here on my break, I usually go to a different location but the service was so great and fast I will now be making the drive here when I am in the mood for mi cocina. If you stop by ask for Orlando! He was very attentive and I never had to ask for anything twice. Truly the best service I've had in awhile!

Mama’s chicken tacos were delicious with a nice avocado salad. They’re famous margaritas are dangerous, two is the limit. Fajitas presentation was impressive. Mi Cocina always delivers, solid Tex-Mex when you’re in the mood.

Amazing service was completely satisfied with our server Zachary, Zach as I like to call him quickly built a good repitoire he took care of my family and I after a long day working out on the field, felt like taking the kids out and about for some good eating couldn’t help but talk shop about our boys THIS IS OUR YEAR I tell him! Absolute Dallas staple with strong margaritas, excellent enchiladas and tacos, and some of the best nachos you will ever eat. Nothing fancy here, but the classics are solid. The HP Village location is by far the best atmosphere in the chain. Service can be a little inconsistent depending who you get, and it’s a total zoo during peak hours, but definitely worth a visit. The bar on the third floor is an absolute gem as well.

First of all food was amazing! Mambo taxis are always a must. The service was literally more than I had ever experience. If y’all want a great experience ask for Orlando, hands down best server!! Orlando was such a good server to us, very attentive & helpful. Most definitely will go back. :)

I had a very delicious experience tonight. I was in other Mi Cosinas before but this one was the best. I'm vegetarian (no carb too) and I am very careful about my health but I don't have any doubt to come back here.

Mi Cocina is awesome! The Restaurant Manager legend and I enjoy dining at every location! Its that good for me to take clients and after a day of shopping. Mi Cocina is my favorite restaurant for tex-mex in all of Dallas. The services rocks every one else's pants of at Mi Cocina!

There is an employee there named Orlando, who is above and beyond reproach. I have had 5 businesses and wish I could fine 10 like him. He is undoubtedly one of the finest individuals that I have ever met. I am a retired Chef, cooked on Air Force One during the Ores Nixon era and believe that I am highly qualified to assess a person’s skills and performance within the food service industry.
This guy is amazing and to be commended highly.
