I have been here at least 3 times, and my service times on my most recent two visits around opening time were excellent. My service experience when I visited in the Spring during a busy demand time was bad. The quality of the products, and my interactions with staff have been good. The inconsistency in service levels is why I subtracted a star, which I'll consider adding if I determine that the place is better managed or staffed during busier times.
The flavors use sugar instead of high fructose corn syrup, and I have found that they work well in homemade beverages. Customers can order bottle(s) and request a speed pourer.
Slow service, half of the employees are standing doing things off to the side. They are super super busy during the summer though. Employees are nice. They have a bunch of flavors and more things than sno cones. We get their smoothies occasionally. They have a reward program that helps if you come here often with kiddos.
The young lady who took our order was very nice. The flavors are good and the size is worth the money. The manager-I guess that’s who she is-was very rude. Not sure if I would come here again just because of her. That’s the only complaint I have about this place and it’s my first time trying it.
I love BBs cus their smoothie is not too sweet, also I love their scraped ice . The icecream flavor is really yummy, also the pink bubblegum and wedding cake. I went there again to get the Lemon-Lime flavor and Pink Bubblegum. I think my best flavor is the Lemon-Lime , it's so refreshing and yummy. You can also get a Bahama Bucks card (Buy Ten Get One Free) any size. Your card will be punched anytime you go there, just give the staff at the window. New Alert 2K19 - Fall Flavors include Candy Corn, Caramel Apple, and Smashing Pumpkin. Also, the spoon changes color from a green color to purple-ish blue.

Love it. Kinda pricey for just a snocone, but they gotta keep the lights on somehow. It's a great place to take kids. Wish they'd play cartoons on the TV inside. Great decor. Very much in line w what they sell. Rewards program is great. Staff friendly and fun. They have a drive-thru and they have junior kids sizes too. 2 times I went they didn't put enough syrup in the sno, just check yours when you get it. I started doing that now and you simply have to go back and ask that they put more in. It's annoying yeah, but again maybe they're trying to save money for the bills and employees they have on staff. You know, I always wonder how this place makes ends meet during Winter time. It's gotta be tough but kudos to the owners for keeping the place open through winter too. They've been at the Preston Campbell corner for ages, and even though it's a bit pricey for a snocone it's my neighborhood snocone place and I rather pay them the extra then to see them shut down. Besides, it's someone's small business and they employ young high-school/college students too. If Bahama Bucks closed down it would effect the whole of Far North Dallas in a negative way. Y'all the only other snocone place I know of is out in Garland, so yeah it's totally worth it. Thank you Bahama Bucks for being around so long, and I hope this review brings you more business. Snow cones are really good. I can understand the other reviewers about the service. We definitely got lucky by being the only ones here, but the kids still weren't super quick moving to help us. All in all though, I'd recommend this place.
It was such a refreshing drink, I ordered Mango Dragonfruit a regular size and it was huge! Anyways I did not get the mango taste really but the drink was really good and refreshing. Definitely will try other flavors as well!
The options are endless and the atmosphere is very energetic! The sour flavors truly are super sour! The shaved ice is good kind that just dissolves away versus hardening up like a brick. My kiddos love the spoons cause they change color depending on whether they are in the ice or not, pretty neat! The reason I don't give this location a full 5 stars is due to the somewhat lacking attentive service. Just keep in mind it is nothing but teenagers and you may have to do some flagging down to get their attention to help. Be aware of the super sticky floors too!
The ice is so much softer than any other place i've tried. Their flavor choices are also different than other snowcone shops. I highly recommend you try them.
THEY GOT RID OF F@CKING ROOT BEER FLOAT, THEY CLAIM ITS THE SAME AS ROOT BEER, BUT ITS NOT!!!! I cannot believe this act of tyranny!! (Y’all have great service btw and I love the staff) I also demand blueberry muffin back, I am awaiting my root beer float flavor back!!!
