The food was so good and the staff was super friendly!!! This was our first time ever going to this establishment, and let me tell you....I was very pleased!!! The outside is very rustic looking, and it seems to be the hot spot for breakfast on Saturdays. Inside feels like an old diner meets mountain cabins. Wood everywhere but the staff were friendly and helpful. You walk in to the smell of fresh homemade cinnamon rolls sitting on the counter to cool, with icing slowly oozing down the sides....and if that doesn't get your tummy rumbling then the fresh biscuits and sausage will. I had the shrimp and grits and let me tell you....they were the best I've ever had! Grits so mouth watering it will make you second guess your moms!mom's!! The locals there are also friendly and like to come dine and chat with you. This is a very nice place to bring the family for Saturday breakfast and to see some of the sites in Dahlonega! We will be back again soon ourselves!!

My hubby and I dined here for brunch yesterday to celebrate his birthday. We both ordered omelettes, grits & biscuits. Our server was sweet as pie & very attentive. The food came quickly & was super delicious. We headed out for a hike after so it was super filling & great comfort food. We will definitely be back.

I'm from the city and decided to go out for a joy ride in the mountains. After about 2 hours, I googled "Breakfast near me" and Foothill Grill popped up. I'm so glad it did and I'm glad I stopped by. This is absolutely country cooking so don't expect gourmet. With that said, I had the Tony Sandwich with sausage and it was great! All the food I saw come out of the kitchen looked yummy. The staff, all women, were friendly, sweet, and full of smiles. At 10:30am on a Sunday, the place was packed and I'm not surprised. I'm sure I'll be back soon.

The food is amazing with both breakfast, lunch and dinner on the menu. Parking may be an issue for some as the parking lot is very small. On Sundays there is usually a wait.

Comfy, cozy Americana. This place is fantastic and a must-try. Great food, super friendly staff. Our server was very attentive and efficient. I had the chicken tenders and my brother had an Omelet. Everything was awesome. Lots of great selections on the menu.

We stopped in here for breakfast on a Sunday morning on a whim. The parking lot was absolutely packed so we figured it was a good sign that the food must be good. We walked in and it was very busy. The woman behind the counter welcomed us and pointed towards 2 open tables and told us we could sit at either. We sat down and ordered The "Huge Rubbish Truck" Omlet with home fries and the "Cheese Steak" Omlet with hash browns. The egg to filling ratio was a bit off as the filling overwhelmed the egg (by a lot) which is usually the other way around. The flavors were good but they could probably save money by upping the egg and lowering the amount of filling and have a good/great product. The home fries were good but not spectacular. The hash browns were underwhelming... pretty soggy and had a bit of a salty tang to them. The restaurant was clean and the service was friendly considering the amount of people there. Prices were fair. I would probably stop in once in a while if I was local but wouldn't drive out of my way to get breakfast here.
