While on a walk to exercise we passed the VooDoo BBQ & Grill. It smelled amazing from outside so we decided to abandon our workout and go in lol . I didn't know what to order so the super helpful girl working on Tuesday helped me choose. I realized that I left my wallet at home. The employee helped me figure out a way to pay digitally and even took the time to do it herself with my phone. The food was delicious and the sweet tea is 🔥(I'll definitely be back for more) but the service was A+. I didn't catch her name but she is a gem and the restaurant is lucky to have her!

Wow! I've had BBQ all over the US and this ranks as some of the best. I had "The Graveyard" Combo with pulled pork and brisket. Not only was the serving size huge, it was exceptionally good. This is now our go-to BBQ restaurant!!

The food was amazing, but the customer service from both Loni & Paris truly made the experience. I came in with and made a fairly big order that the took the time to split everything up by name on the order, gave us all the condiments we needed. Definitely an awesome experience. Derek Daigle

I prefer my gumbo thickened with okra, but their's is still pretty good. Good food all around, really. Friendly staff and fast service. When it's what you're craving, it really hits the spot.

Fair Warning the food has a distinct cajun kick to it. This is not a bad thing to those who like it but if you are expecting a sticky sweet experience you are in the wrong place. I have never had Barbecue in New Orleans and if this is what they are serving there I am missing out and need to educate myself better. For a chain I did not feel like I was eating "chain style" food. Want a different than average just smoked meat experience then head on over there and give them a try, you will probably be back.

This is our local food joint to eat at when we don't feel like driving all the way to New Orleans. We have eaten in and taken out. Portions are really nice and have a wide variety to choose from. They offer online ordering through the app Toast Takeout which Pounders also uses. Really love how they offer 10% off for military and first responders. Much appreciated. Don't forget to sign up for the rewards program.

I love the atmosphere of this place. Although not a huge restaurant, it had a nice family owned feel to it. Menu was simple but had a wide variety to choose from. My wife had the catfish platter which she said she enjoyed. I had their basic burger with red beans and rice. While I was not particularly impressed with the burger, the red beans and rice was GREAT! Not quite as good as getting it in New Orleans, but still good. Both of us agreed that the cornbread was excellent. We will both be back in the future.

The food was very good and the staff was friendly. I had sliced brisket and my only complaint was I wish there was more because it was delicious! I preferred the mojo sauce but the others are good too, it’s just a matter of taste. The baked beans were good and had a little kick to them. The Mac and Cheese wasn’t the best but still not bad. The cornbread muffins were amazing, not dried out hockey pucks like some places serve. The smoked chicken was also great. Very tender and lean still. My daughter got the grilled shrimp tacos and said they were also good. I will say it is a little pricey if you are thinking of it as fast food, but the quality is good.

Absolutely delicious! We got the pulled pork sandwich, and it was great that they had the BBQ sauce on the side so you can put as much or a little as you’d like. We got the jambalaya which was great! Not over salted like other reviews say. The Mac & cheese was good, the voodoo chips were nice and crispy, and we also got the monster wings which were also amazing! Would definitely recommend, and would come again.
