The starters were 50 50.
The breads that come out first are very delicious. They were just the right warm with just the right amount of butter. Then the chips with queso let me down. The two drops did not live up to basic starter quality, and the chips were either too chewy or too hard.
I went with the sundae chocolate cake to start. Sorry, no picture. It was just okay. The cake itself wasn't moist, so the ice cream was needed. It lacked in taste, quantity of ice cream, the wow you are looking for from that picture in the menu.
Now the service was on, the manager even stopped by to check on me.
I went with the Monte Cristo. Great choice here. They do a very good job all around with the texture, taste, and presentation.
I do recommend this dish. The fries were done good enough, not to perfection but good enough.

I had not been here in a long time , I was on a very strict eating plan and this place had too much high calorie food. I have since relaxed and tried the blackened Chicken with beans and rice. The chicken was very good , I did not care for the sausage that was in the beans and rice , and since I put Tabasco on my food , it would have been nice to know it had peppers already in it. I would not order this again. My husband had chicken fried chicken, it was very good the breading was crunchy and it held up to every time he cut it and did not fall off. It was still crispy , crunchy when we warmed it in the oven the next morning for breakfast.He got the double order for 2.00 more. We also shared a carrot cake that was amazing , especially the candied pecans. Scout was our waiter, and he was very good. I will go back to try the chicken pot pie that passed my table.
Had a girl's day out and went here for lunch, place is nice and chill. Waiter was friendly and quick. Food was good, I got the chicken strip and half ribs and they were great 👍 Compared to some other places this was very affordable, would come again for sure
Located in Corpus Christi,this is a great place with tasty lip smacking food at great prices. We went on a Saturday evening and the place was buzzing. Being a large group, we were made to wait for a few mins before being served.
We were waited by Elijah who was cheerful,friendly and attentive to us. They gave us some complementary butter honey croissant and it was one of the best croissant we had. The lemonade was also very refreshing
We had mostly the Salmon,Alfredo pasta,tilapia to name a few. Each item was well prepared and tasted delicious. Should be on everyone's list for good food in CC

I will definitely recommend the salmon, and the chicken. Now to get to the point. As soon as we were seated, we looked at our menu, but after we found what drinks we wanted, we waited for a server to greet us, but they never came. We ended up having to use, call our server button on the tablet. After that we waited a few minutes until they came. We pressed the button to order…took a few minutes again, they came we ordered, minutes later we got our food. Delicious btw, but then my daughter dropped her lemon, it was for salmon, so it was needed, anyway, we pressed the button and waited…and waited…finally I decided to get up and just go order the lemons at the front myself. It wasn’t until I was in the restroom, when service came, my daughter was sitting there so there was really nothing to do. Again, food was delicious, definitely recommend you try it if you read this.
The only reason I didn't give 5 stars was that we had to wait 5 -10 minutes for someone to clean our seats. We talked to a wonderful manager. She took our information and told us she would send a gift card. We see. But the food was great and our waiter was great.
Today I tried another location and I’m happy to say it was another perfect dinner experience. We checked in online and was seated almost immediately when we arrived. The waiter was so attentive and the manager himself came to make sure we were happy with our experience. Everyone was so friendly and welcoming! Cheddar for the win once again!!!
A great way to start our trip into Corpus Christi and Rockport! Our server Brandi was very friendly, and welcomed us to Texas. She had lots of food and drink recommendations. I started with a Cheddar's painkiller, which was strong but delicious, and their signature croissants. My husband had a steak with chicken fingers and fries, and I had their cheese curds (so good!) and pasta Alfredo with broccoli. We ended with their chocolate cake, which was so rich and delicious! A wonderful welcome and way to start our trip, tasty and reasonably priced. Brandi said we were welcome to come back and ask for her, and we will next time we're in town! Thanks for the great dinner!
Good food at reasonable prices. Not all Cheddars are the same, depends on the staff. This one had some good folks! I sat at the bar for a beer while waiting for my take out order.
It is worth the wait, in my opinion..They were really busy but the food was good and it was an enjoyable experience.
Staff is quite friendly and pleasant. Prices are affordable not over priced. Complementary honey butter croissants are actually quite delicious. I liked it. I usually order a sirloin steaks since that is my go to dish. Theirs was quite good. Unless you're super picky, I like mine medium rare and that's what I got.
So yes, I did love their steaks and the Presidente Sangria is so good. I totally recommend that drink.
