We love Rudys some of the best BBQ we have eaten, great customer service and very friendly. We recommend our family and friends to give them a try.
Best beef brisket ever. It was so tender you could cut it with a spoon. It have a generous smoke ring and the Burtons were to die for. The baby back ribs or equally as good. None of the above meets needed sauce. Barbecue is a cooking technique not a sauce.
With an extensive selection and attentive staff, this is a must try if you're I'm Corpus Christi. The long can get long but the staff is very efficient and it moves quickly. The meat is smoked but not overpowered by it. The prices are also very reasonable.
Very good bbq place! I had the brisket sandwich, it was really good, you can add pickles and jalapeños, mustard or horseradish, make it your way. The sweet tea was very good too and I loved the feeling of eating in another time. Lots of space for families and a big selection of drinks. Good prices too!
I L•O•V•E this place, never disappointed! That is until today. :( Went in and everything was perfect, bought a rice crispy for later…made sure to pick one of the bigger ones. Later came around, I unwrapped it took a big bite and laughed…this rice crispy tastes like smoked bbq!! I guess it absorbed the heavenly smell of bbq lol. I ate it anyway but yeah wasn’t expecting that…boohoo

Gilbert Rasmussen & Carlos Ambriz did a phenomenal job. I didn’t even know I liked Green Chili Stew until they gave me a sample and I love it! I ended up buying five pints for my entire family.
Very respectable and friendly gentlemen. I wanted something on the lighter side and they asked what I liked and I said turkey, so they both suggested the turkey sandwich. These guys know what to suggest!
I had an amazing experience and will definitely be back with friends who haven’t had the opportunity to try it out, yet. 10/10
If you need gas and bbq, this is a good place to go! While I didn’t buy gas, I did buy food. Glad I did! The brisket was excellent! As was the banana pudding and the peppery bbq sauce. Didn’t have a long wait for food, and staff was helpful to a newbie. Decor was on brand for what you’d expect from a bbq place. Would eat here again.
Last week was my first time at a Rudy's and it was really good. And since I had never been, I, of course, did not know what to expect.
It was cafeteria style, meaning we got our food and brought it back to our seats, which was a picnic table.
For food, I ordered brisket, turkey, and sausage; all of which were very good. In my opinion, the turkey was the best. It was tender and smoked with lots of flavor. The sausage was very flavorful as well. The brisket was good, but not much more than what you'd expect. The creamed corn, which I ordered as I side, was quite good as well.
Overall, it was very good BBQ for a place that's a chain.
I can't say enough good things about Rudy's BBQ! The breakfast tacos and coffee are not only affordable but also incredibly filling. The moist brisket, especially the blackened and fatty cuts, is nothing short of amazing. I sometimes order just brisket, and they go the extra mile by providing bread and warmed-up tortillas. The baked potato and desserts are absolute winners too. To top it all off, the beer and soda selection is another highlight. Five stars for this BBQ gem!

The staff is super friendly and helpful! The BBQ is (chef's kiss) amazing. Picnic style tables adjourn the dining room so everyone can get a seat. Bring the family! Have some brisket and creamed corn. Full bar for all the fixins.
Had to try Rudy’s with all the great reviews and it lived up to the expectations. Brisket was my favorite and that should always be perfect in Texas. It was... I got moist (lean is the other option) it was cooked to perfection. Great flavor and tender. Basically, Rudy’s did everything right. The sides were all wonderful and my daughter loved the corn on the cob. Rudy’s staff were friendly and helpful with cheerful smiles and that gregarious Texas demeanor. Love the place and you can even fuel up your vehicle after dinner! Easy location right off the main road and a must stop in Corpus Christi. Easy to load up some take home too which seemed to be the thing locals were doing which is always a good sign of a great restaurant!
The food was ok this time around.I asked for marblized brisket but still ended up getting lean. The was were great and the staff friendly.
