Longhorn Steakhouse

I showed up at 1240 pm and I could not get a to go order until 2pm at the earliest. There was a line out the door to be seated, about 130 to sit down . Reservations, if taken, would be a good thing to have here New day 7/19/201: I had to send the steak back. I ordered it medium well and it came to the table medium. When it came out the second time it too was mostly medium. Too hungry to send it back again. Waitress Elizabeth was great .The side of the restaurant near the bathrooms stank like the carpets was wet and mildewy. Worst visit here ever when I did eat. I came on a Saturday, about 200 pm, it took 30 minutes to get one steak and a hamburger, it took an additional 30 minutes to get a drink refill. Our server was Ashley W., she never asked if we wanted more bread, or a refill, checked on us to see if the meal was okay. She did not deliver the food, some man did. She never asked if we wanted dessert.They were either under staffed or do not care about the customers. The bathroom floors were very slippery, I almost fell even with my cane. The carpet from the seating booth all the way to the restrooms stank like mildewy carpets. This restaurant needs to be shut down for cleaning. Today 1/30/21 I ordered online. I had the 20 ounce ribeye, loaded baked potato, and broccoli. I ordered 35 minutes ahead of pick up time. After notifying them I was there the food came to me in about 5 minutes. Very good steak and experience.

We were certain we'd be disappointed, considering the other options for a good steak that we usually eat at. But we were surprised. Staff was polite, helpful AND knowledgeable about the food and how the steak is prepared. My husband was very impressed by the lady who took our order over the phone. She understood aspects of how the steak cooks and is served that he would expect only the cook to know. And EVERY PART of our meals here were fantastic. The salad was fresh, the dressing was delicious, the steaks were great cuts that were perfectly prepared, the baked potatoes were really well cooked, the toppings for the potatoes were perfect, and the cheddar stuffed mushrooms were yummy.

I am traveling and visiting my son at the local base. I went in by myself at around 8:40 and half the tables were open and they encouraged me to sit at the bar. I told them I preferred a table and they told me it would be a 45 minute wait. I told them no thank you and then a Caucasian couple walked in and was seated. (There was not a waiting list) The gentleman was a larger guy in a plaid shirt I guess he didn’t like 👍🏿 the way I looked even though I was in khakis and a polo. I won’t be back and I will be complaining to corporate.

Visited March 9, 2022 and was finished at 6:35 pm. Service took forever just to get a drink order placed, and the place was not busy. Salads were pitiful, 1 salad barely having salad at all. The other salad saturated with dressing that puddled in the bottom of the bowl. Steaks tasted of meat and pepper, nothing more. At least they were cooked to the right temperature. The ladies bathroom was disgusting. Trash cans overflowing, urine on all toilet seats, and paper scattered across the floors. At the time I walked out of the restroom only 12 tables were occupied. It will be a long time before we return.
