Golden Corral

Horrible experience. Went to the food bar to prepare a plate and found a roach crawling on the buffet. If these things are comfortable enough to crawl around during the day, I wonder how many crawl around at night? The manager acted as though this was some common occurrence however and kindly refunded my money. However, I WILL NOT be returning any time soon.

Food quality has been up and down in past years at Golden Corral, but it seems to have tanked. I have never been a picky eater. But all the meat tasted like it was seasoned the same, minus the poultry, which getting them to cut... took some waiting. The a food was dry, over cooked. I wouldn't have paid much attention to food quality except that I paid to receive it. Should have went elsewhere. For two adults and a 6 year old girl we paid over $40.00 and then the tip. Which I must say the server was very good. So for fifty dollars you can get your drinks filled, used plates and utensils removed and a bad aftertaste in your mouth. Although I did like the fried okra and chocolate ice cream, I couldn't fill up on them. So if you have money to waste, Golden Corral should fit your needs.

Me and my family went here at 7 p.m. on a Sunday evening and there was absolutely no desserts a lot of food was missing from the main Buffet and the steak had no flavor at all. They don't even close until 9. They even still had the breakfast cards up. Paying $13 per person I could have choosing to go to a much nicer place where the food is not hit or miss.
