Panera Bread

Updated Post - Spoke with store mgmt who provided some background. Pre-orders should be submitted 3 days in advance. If last minute need arises, call in advance to check bread availability. Very pleased with response to concerns. Original Post - Arrived early Saturday morning for bread and other items. No white bread, no whole grain bread, no tomato basil bread at 7:00 am. Pre-ordering isn't the answer as previous orders were missing the bread even when ordered two days in advance. Left empty handed and will head to a full-service bakery later this morning for everything on my list. Really sad that a place that built its reputation with bread is unable to offer what's on their bread menu.

The place is great, It has a great atmosphere and it's kept clean. The food is always good, if you're into baked goods with a place where you can work, check emails or just catch up with a friend this is the spot. I appreciate the ample space, there are booth, tables for 2 or 4. You can order for pick up ahead of time or order when you arrive, service is quick and friendly. When I'm in the area meeting clients, this is one of my favorite places to catch up or kill time between appointments.

There are coffee shops and there are cafe's. Then there is Panera Bread in a class of its own. Always top class service and great food served properly. You may end up spending a dollar or two more here but its absolutely worth it. Talking specifically about the N Hamilton Road location though, I had a fantastic experience recently. I picked up my "rapid pickup" order and the staff missed one item. When I got back to my office and realized one item was missing I called in. Talked to the manager (sorry I didn't catch her name) and she was very apologetic and accommodating. She offered me extra food for my trouble of having to go back and pick up the missing item which wasn't necessary since her attitude was pleasant enough but her gesture was, nevertheless, still appreciated. I would love to visit this location again whenever I'm in that part of town. Much thanks to the great manager there for making me feel valued. P.S. My visit was around 6:30pm on 1/10/2021 so whichever manager was on duty then is the one I'm referring to.
