Great local lunch hot spot! Absolutely adore the owner and his beautiful wife. They have the BEST hot dogs, and scrambled dogs in town. I highly recommend checking them out and all the cool decor 😎

ew. I was expecting a hot dog place to have REALLY good hot dogs. Super disappointed in quality and taste- very cheaply made. The employees were extremely kind and friendly though!

3/7/22 At drive thru, a little around 3pmvery sweet, nice, polite server. However... I ordered 2 chili dogs all the way, add slaw, no ketchup. Got home and sadly they are missing the slaw. Just let her know to pay more atten to the orders.

Red and the crew had done an awesome job on my order . The service was quick and they were very curtious . Friendly, down home common people. That was my first visit and the Good Lord's will , I'll be going back. Love the 50's and 60's nostalgia and the music. Food is reasonably priced. This place is a Columbus staple. I recently discovered they have a drive through. Even though it's been there over a year. I would maybe do something more to advertise that. Cooks is one of the few places that did not shut down at all during the pandemic. Cooks is a must for hot dogs and hamburgers in Columbus. It's a trip down memory lane for the older crowd that grew up in this town. Lots of local HS memorabilia inside. I eat here almost every time I pass at lunchtime.

We love this place. It’s hard to explain why it’s so special. Affordable, great chili, friendly atmosphere, and my kids love choosing songs on the (free) jukebox.
