I'm in town visiting and wanted to try a local spot. The food was good. I got a chicken plate with dark meat. With that I received a drumstick and a small thigh. The pieces were a bit in the small side, but they were crispy and flavorful. They didn't have Mac n cheese, but they had "pasta and cheese". All the sides were good, even the collard greens. I would recommend this place.

This little place is hidden away but awesome! It's at the end of Schomburg Rd and warm springs road. Go right and pass the strip mall, its right on the road and next.
Country cooking different on each day. Mom & Pop establoshment- closed on Sat and open a couple of hours after church on Sunday.

I've eaten here twice, once for lunch, once for dinner. If you're looking for a comfort food type home-cooked meal, this is your place.
The menu changes daily but it mostly consists of "southern foods"

Food tasted freshly cooked. Lots of flavor. Had lunch from there on Wednesday and the grilled porkchop, squash casserole, and mashed potatoes were amazing. All members of my parry were very pleased with their food. Will be going back again.

Monday March 21st at 12pm the food was terrible and the tea was soured and sad thing was they had a cup covering the fresh tea container they were trying to use up the tea from the day before should be ashamed had to throw food away what a waste i have had really good food from this location not long ago but after this will not return to this location do better!!!@@
