Mabella's Italian Steakhouse

To be honest it's ratings and reviews are rather inflated! Service was great but attention to detail matters... chipped glass caught my lip. Potato soup was bland (I wouldn't recommend putting mushrooms in potato soup). Burnt bread is not plesent even if you intended to burn it! The drinks were good and the entree was good.... I am fond of the brussel sprouts! This is not a 5 star restaurant!

It is a rare occasion I stumble upon a restaurant that I would be proud to rate five stars. Mabellas is one of those. I have been BLOWN away by each visit I have been, which I can tell you is many. Service here out does every other restaurant in Columbus as well as the food and environment! The chefs take their time here to create mouth watering masterpieces. A place this fantastic deserves bragging rights as the best spot in Columbus. I highly recommend the Red Sangria, New York strip dinner, and to finish off with a slice of cheesecake that is so delicately prepared. Ruth’s Chris who? Mabellas Italian steak house is a top notch establishment that will forever remain my favorite place to eat.

My first time. Our server, Kevin and the others, that came by our table were friendly, caring, masked and respectful and knowledgeable about the menu of choices, meaning they have tried some or all that was offered. Nice place to visit and worthy of the price $$(food portions great). Yes, I would go back.

Make reservations or plan on eating at the bar because this little hole in the wall is a popular eatery in the community. The staff was extremely pleasant and we enjoyed talking to both of the bartenders. I ordered a grilled pineapple margarita that was absolutely delicious, and later a mixed berry sangria which was very sweet. We ordered the lasagna, steak topped with gorgonzola and walnuts with side of garlic fries. It was absolutely delicious, and promise to try to save room for desert next time!!
