Papa Johns Pizza

I went to order a pizza today through the online app. I accidentally ordered for pickup because I had the settings set to my last order which was pick up when my husband was home. I realized my mistake when the pizza tracker showed it was for pickup. I don’t drive and so I called the store and the associate was very helpful did his best to try and make it for delivery and just have me pay the rest of the fee, after a few minutes of trying he was unable to adjust it in the computer. So he kindly cancelled my order and refunded my money. Immediately my money was refunded and my Papa Johns $10 pizza awards credit I had used was also refunded. I was able to place a second order right away and have it delivered to my house. The delivery man Charles M. was so nice and friendly. He told me they made me a fresh pizza for me right after I placed the second order to ensure I had a perfect experience and fresh pizza. I have been under a lot of stress recently and this man’s kindness and the kindness of the store staff really meant a lot to me and so I wanted to leave this nice positive review. I usually order from here about once a week or so. The picture I am including, the pizza is half gone and I was so hungry when it got here I ate it right away, so this is after it has been sitting in the fridge for a bit. It was delicious!

The pizza here is pretty typical, but if you order extra sauces check to make sure you get them. This is the second time I've ordered and paid for them, but didn't get them. **updated** 9/10/22 I ordered for the first time in a long time. I got a few of the new bowls, bread sticks, and a few extra sauces. There was a mix up with the bowls but they were quick to fix it without question. All sauces present and tons of peppers since I paid for extra. Definitely an improvement!

The only place that actually puts the correct amount of extra sauce. They also use a good amount of cheese. My pizza always arrives fast, hot and fresh 👍 Update: Dont order delivery Saturday night. My pizza took 90 minutes to arrive and by the time it got to me it was cold, and had barely any toppings and was cut horribly, like the person making it rushed. Ugh Update #2: I keep giving this place a chance, chasing that first saucey, cheesey, gooey pizza. I add extra sauce when ordering, I call and remind them. Do I get extra sauce? Nope. Barely any sauce at all. Double ugh.

I am a huge fan of Papa John’s and have been for many years, my order was 2 medium pizzas and I earned a free Papadia for doing a free survey, and I was SO very happy with with pizza but the papadia disappoints. The edges were burnt, over cooked, and tough to chew. Note to Papa Johns, even though someone gets a free item, please take care of the food a little more. I’ve had a papadia before, but if I was a new customer and tried it for the first time, I wouldn’t order again. Love PapaJohns, but this store got a lower waiting from me just for the lack of quality to existing customers who share their experience genuinely.
