Laguna Mexican Street Food & Ice Cream

I just moved to Columbus from Southern California, and have been putting off trying Mexican food in the area. This place did not disappoint! Laguna has just about all the Mexican streetfood treats I can think of, delicious Mexican tacos (i.e. small corn tortillas, delicious fresh grilled meat, cilantro and onions) almost as good as the stuff you can get in LA, and great service :) Some things (e.g. an extra side of beans) are more expensive than they should be, but if you stick to the meals you should be good!

This was probably the best experience i’ve had at any restaurant getting food before. The man running it was extremely patient and kind with me and helped by giving me recommendations, and telling me what things were. After I paid and was waiting for my food to-go he helped me carry all my stuff to my car unprompted!! He made this experience top tier and I will definitely be a regular here now!

I personally keep a very high standard when it comes to food, Mexican food even more so. I can't believe I live so close to one of the most underrated Mexican spots in Columbus, OH. Phillipe the owner, greeted me with kindness immediately upon arrival. He wasn't obligated to, I could just tell he genuinely enjoys his job and wants to make any customer feel welcomed in his store (massive props, I love it) I was already so impressed and I hadn't even tried the food yet! Got home, heated up my Al Pastor burrito in the oven and wow! Got to say I was massively impressed by the fresh ingredients. This put the likes of chipotle to absolute shame. And quite frankly, it was so reasonably priced for the quality & quantity I was given. Please support this local business, they're lovely people with even more lovely food!

This was my 1st time here. It was absolutely delicious 😋 I ordered the pastor tacos and they had such an amazing flavor. They weren't dry at all. I always order pastor tacos when I get tacos and these had such an original taste. Even the sauces they make here look and taste different. The food here is definitely authentic!!! Give it a try you won't be disappointed.

I have been here several times just to order the street tacos, and chips and salsa. Their steak street tacos are the BEST! The caramelized onions and fresh cilantro perfectly complement the juicy pieces of steak, and have this BOOM of flavor when you include the by the hot sauce that I believe is also made in-house. I tried their new aguas frescas pineapple and I don't think I will be buying pineapple soda anymore! It was so good and refreshing!! I absolutely love the staff and the quality of their food has never diminished. Eating it at the restaurant or taking it home, it is always yummy and is now a huge comfort for me. Very friendly people. Crazy delicious food! The picture doesn't do it justice!
