Noodles & Company

I ate a delicious supper yesterday [8-23-2022] at Noodles and Company [or Noodles World Kitchen] at 2124 N. High St. [in the "University District" neighborhood of Columbus]. I had been planning to attend a concert later that evening at University Baptist Church [less than a block away] so I decided to eat at Noodles World Kitchen on my way to the concert. Yesterday had been the first day of classes at The Ohio State University so the streets and sidewalks in the campus area had been extremely crowded; however, the Noodles World Kitchen at 2124 N. High St. had not been at all crowded. The service had been friendly, helpful, and efficient. After studying the menu on the wall [the menu above the ordering counter had been too difficult for me to read because of the small font size but there is, thankfully, another option for reading the menu], I decided to order "Wisconsin Mac & Cheese," which is the traditional "macaroni and cheese" ["elbow macaroni" with cheese sauce] topped with [several different flavors of] shredded cheese. After I had ordered and had found a table, I started to walk around the restaurant so that I would be able to take some photographs for Google Maps. My meal arrived very quickly, two or three minutes after I had ordered, before I had finished taking photographs. The building where this Noodles World Kitchen is located is extremely interesting because it has two floors [the second-floor eating area is accessed by a tall metal staircase]; they even have an outdoor eating area that is accessible from their [inside] second-floor eating area. The food at this Noodles World Kitchen is as delicious as it is at the other locations of Noodles World Kitchen; I strongly recommend that location if you happen to be in the University District.

We visited for my youngest. The menu was tempting. I got the Orange Chicken. The noodles were great! The veggies mixed in really added to the bowl. The chicken was perfect, well cooked. My wife had Japanese noodles and they were tasty. The staff was nice, and it seemed like they were working well together. I wish we had a location near us.

I thought that it was a little pricey for what I was getting. I ordered a mac and cheese, and it was almost 7 dollars. However, the staff are very nice and the restaurant is very clean. I also really enjoyed the fact that they use reusable plates and silverware. Being friendly to the environment is often forgotten at chains like this.
