It wasn't bad, food was ok nothing special. Server did run off with our drinking while we were mingling around the crowd.

Trash at the entrance to the restaurant.
Fantastic view of the rivers. Service was OUTSTANDING by the young man. Food quality, I felt was very good. Salmon was delicious with mashed potatoes, temperature were like warm, & broccolini was more than al dente, cool, maybe raw. However, other food temperatures were far below the safe temperature limits. Excessive ordevours on the plates, meatballs, & chicken, on the plate were lucky to be warm, if that. Maybe less on a plate served more often HOT!
Understand the help situation. Crazy at best. Model A event

We had my son's wedding there recently. The roomwas beautiful. The food was excellent and so.was the service. And Edward was so helpful with the planning and keeping things organized on "the day". We didn't even need a wedding planner. We had both the wedding and reception there. This is no longer a restaurant- now a special events venue. I would highly recommend this for a corporate event or wedding. And the view if the downtown Columbus lights at night made a perfect backdrop!

I was here for an event and everything was well done. The views are great and everyone there was friendly and helpful.

Our ceremony at The Boathouse was beautiful. Our only downfall was the communication was lacking during the planning process. Our initial coordinator left the company, so we went several weeks with no contact person. We were eventually reassigned, but our new contact person was significantly less attentive than our first person. The company also wrote on the calendar that our rehearsal began 30 minutes later than what our contract stated. The coordinator was meeting with other clients, so we were forced to wait the 30 minutes to begin. We originally requested to have the bar closed during our ceremony, but it was opened as a cash bar (although it’s not what we planned, this ended up being a wonderful surprise as it was 95 degrees out and our guests really needed something to drink!) Once things started though, the rehearsal and ceremony ran beautifully. Overall, I would recommend this venue, but encourage you to just remember they got things covered and it will be beautiful and perfect (even if you aren’t sure what’s happening during some of the planning phase)

We went for Restaurant Week. What a wonderful experience! We had a table by the windows, so we're able to watch an egret, a great blue heron, and even saw a rainbow over Columbus after a pop-up shower. Our meal was fantastic! Everything was prepared to perfection! Our server, Tammy, was wonderful -- very attentive but not overbearing or intrusive. Our table was visited by two members of the management staff, who were very friendly. All in all, it was a fantastic experience!

Going there for 614 Restaurant Week and I am very pleased with the overall experience and ESPECIALLY the food. Oh dear goodness, the food was delicious - not one of us [of 4] had a negative thing to say about our dishes! Our primary server seemed very stressed [and with not that many people in the restaurant....maybe she was fresh out of orientation? I mean, who hasnt been in those shoes before?!?!] but our food was served hot and the manager, William, was attentive and engaging. I love it when people are proud of the foodx history of their restaurant, and are willing to share information! He told us about the history of the damning of the river and how now, there's a significant variety of wildlife because the dams were taken down along with the origins of the restaurant itself. All very satisfying and not just hype...while there, we saw a heron and a bald eagle!!! I have zero doubt we would have seen more if we hadn't been engrossed in conversation ;-)
Overall, this will be one of my go-to recommendations for people who want QUALITY food and a great environment!

Good venue for event today but the impromptu "after party" was awesome! Jeff the Bartender took care of us the whole time and we had a blast. Beautiful and food was wonderful!! We will be back for our next "Boathouse Club Meeting" for sure!!

Came here for a wedding May 31, 2019, which turned out absolutely beautiful. The service was superb. The staff was friendly and professional. They really went above and beyond in making sure everything was perfect. Never an empty glass on the table or empty plate left for more than a couple seconds. A big shout out to Deb. Her hospitality is beyond excellent. She even got some dance moves in with us as she was scooting around taking care of us all. She was so much fun! The views were priceless. Thank you for making our friends' wedding a day to remember.
