People who like vegetarian meals can try their dishes.I had a dosa thali/plate.it has several items. Idli, wade.,hydrbad masala dosa stuffed with mashed potatoes and a dessert.comes with sambar/vegetable gravy to dip your dosa and some gravy made from coconut.everything is so yummy.don't forget to order their mango lassi/drink.that is delicious.
The food here is art. The flavors are delectable. The attention to detail is first rate. Truly a lovely dining experience. And the prices are really reasonable too. Last reason to go, fresh hot papadums. If you don't know what they are that's another reason. Yumm!
Great! Was busy but they moved quickly to have everyone served in a timely manner. Second time having Southern Indian fare. Food was good although I had to get help choosing. The idling was my favorite. I ate it all before I remembered to take a picture.
This place is solid 5 star for having south indian delicacies. Dosas and Vadas are crisp whereas Idlis are soft and fluffy. Chutney and sambhar tastes authentic. Avoid confusion and order their Combo Thali😊
Must visit place to satisfy your taste buds.
Options given, I would have rated the place with more than five stars. This is an authentic place, unlike majority of Indian restaurants. If you are from india, you know what I mean. The place is small with a much smaller parking facility. The staff are amazing. The food is fresh, good, and prepared with care. The ingredients are fresh and good. We were late in night, almost towards the time of closing. Still they entertained us. We started with Mysore bonda. The chutneys were too good. I ordered the Hyderabad masala dosa, and my husband ordered some other variant of masala dosa. My dosa was much better with an additional layer of hot and tangy- spicy chutney to it. The sambar was decent, but the coconut chutney was terrific. I would go back again. The filter coffee was very good, if you love india style coffee. This is a vegetarian place, and they have other Indian vegetarian delicacies like chhole- bhature, puri- sabji etc. I highly recommend this place, if you are a dosa lover like me.
Update: last time I loved everything. This time when I visited I found them degraded. They were understaffed. The service was not good. The Dahivada was not good. I didn’t like the recipe. Even the dosa was also very basic.
I visit Columbus and always come to this place. It’s got the best Dosa and variety of dishes. Of course you have to wait, it’s a busy place and they are short staff, reviewers who complain are the ones who are impatient. All the dishes are made to order so it’s like when you are home, you wouldn’t complain to your mother about the wait. Seriously, you should try this place.
Amazing food with a wide variety of options, including popular Indian food prepared expertly in vegetarian format. I would highly recommend to anyone who loves Indian food and wants something new to explore, especially their platter plate
Indeed the best dosa place in Columbus. I like their Dosa Thali with Mysore Masala Dosa. This restaurant gives a very authentic vibe. Their food tastes good, and their service is also good. Their prices are very reasonable. The dosa thali seems the best option if you want to eat Dosa, Idli, and Vada with a sweet dish. Their coconut chutney is also well done; that’s one of the essential part of all these food. Will recommend to try this place, you’ll love it.
After long time visit this place, food good but service is horrible,
Even wait for order, ask for 2-3 time for order, no coordination between staff, one said wait for 10 to order, one said wait for 2 minutes. Not so many people but still look like not good managed.
If you want to come, don't expect good service.
Good Restaurant .....lot of Dosa verity....with great taste
During our stay at Columbus, we visited this restaurant to find good South Indian food. The place is small but cozy. We ordered dosa Thali. Portion size for the price of food was good. Idlis and Wadas were good but I liked dosa the most. The taste was not authentic South Indian but was good. We also ordered upama to go. Nothing like typical upama but preparation of food is North Indian style. Service got slow as soon as place got few more customers. This is not your typical udupi style restaurant but good place to try South Indian food with a North Indian twist.
Great dosa place in Columbus, Ohio. We live in Cleveland and whenever we come to Columbus we eat here. They have a wide variety of tasty dosas here. If you want to try different items go for the thali which is very reasonable.
Ordered for pickup via Doordash as the phone to the restaurant was busy everytime we tried - this was a good sign. The parking is small and parked 2 cars deep. The restaurant was full of happy patrons. The order was ready on time. Everything packaged well, soups & sauce containers securely wrapped in plastic wrap. We tried Masala Dosa, Mysore Masala Dosa, and Paneer Masala Dosa - all were delicious! We also ordered Aloo Bonda, Sambar, Rassam, Chapati, and Garlic Naan. Everything was very delicious. The garlic naan is perhaps the best I've ever had in Columbus. We will definitely eat food from Dosa Corner again!
