6-1-Pho offers a nice casual atmosphere and delicious food. The staff is friendly, and quick. The ingredients are fresh and the broth is also very tasty. My only gripe is the beef can be fatty/chewy so I prefer to get the chicken bowl. If you're not bothered by that though, you can't really go wrong with anything here!
The homies and I had a craving for banh mi/pho and had to investigate the best Viet spots in Columbus. This is how we landed on 6-1-Pho. As another reviewer mentioned, it’s like the Vietnamese chipotle. You go through a line and can pick toppings for your pho. I got their combo meat special pho and was very pleased. The broth was flavorful and not too sweet as some places make it. There was a generous portion of meat. Overall the size of the bowl was decent too. A very satisfying meal. My friends got the bowl of rice with chicken and the banh mi. The bread for the banh mi wasn’t a typical toasted baguette that we’re used to but it wasn’t bad. All in all I say it’s a good place you get your banh mi and pho cravings addressed. Random aside - the bathroom was very clean as well.
6-1-Pho is the restaurant I most regularly frequent in Columbus. I like it a lot and the prices are good, the food is even better and the workers are always friendly.
What I like about this place is the food can satisfy a meat eater, a vegan, or a gluten free person all the same. I generally get the marinated tofu pho and my partner the chicken pho- both are great and I think their broth is perfect. They started using flatter noodles which are less good than the more round noodles they used to use so I hope they switch back!
I get to go and they have this down to a science- they have a good packing system that makes sure you don’t spill and the food tastes good when you get it home.
Nice looking restaurant. Parking in the back, next to a bank.
Self-service restaurant. Order first and then clean up after yourself. Good service. Good staff.
My family and I had Pho. It was surprisingly not bad. Good amount of greens and meat. You can do half-half meat. Broth and noodle was okay.
This is my go-to spot on a rainy or cold day or anytime I get a soup craving. The broth is excellent but also have fun doctoring it up with the different combinations of sauces they provide. I've also gotten the banh mi several times and it's a great sandwich that could stand on its own as well. I love the fast-casual set up so it's extremely convenient for takeout or dine-in.
6-1-Pho. Gotta love the name. It essentially is like chipotle where you can pick out what you want and all your toppings. It wasn’t the best pho I ever had, but it was still pretty good. The egg rolls were mid, not the best, but not bad at all. The space was smaller than I was expecting, but it was clean and nicely decorated. Overall, my experience here was good.
You choose what you want from the soup base to what guess in it.
Absolutely celiac safe, just read the sauce bottles and such.
Coke fountain.
Great cookies.
Their food is consistently on point. I have been to every other well known establishment that offers pho in the city and this is by far my favorite. The broth is amazing and they even do a amazing job of you need to pick some up on the run. Eta: I have had pho from a plethora of places and this is the only one consist and great.
It is a fast food restaurant for pho and it is great as you don’t need to wait. The restaurant is small but people come and go quickly. You can get different types of pho (beef, chicken or vegetarian) and customize the ingredients. I love my veggie pho with marinated tofu. Good portion and quite tasty. You can park on the back side.
Pork banh mi was excellent !! Vegetable pho is not bad but lack some flavors. A good restaurant!!
