Dairy Queen

I stopped here on my way home from work to get dinner and a blizzard first and foremost they made me the best Hawaiian blizzard and Honey BBQ chicken, I was offered a discount because I was in a work vehicle that was really nice and it made my business feel appreciated all the workers are super friendly and so nice they really did make my entire day!! Thank you!

Went here for free cone day yesterday. They ran a tight ship! Heard multiple different order interactions in front of me at the drive-thru and all of them were polite, cheerful, effective, and most of all FAST! They also had, what I thought, was a wonderful policy for the free cones: asking a 25-cent donation to their children's program per free cone. Easy to accommodate, and made the free cone that much tastier.

Relatively new owner is a longtime employee who bought the business. I was not happy with the food the first 2 times I visited. I finally stopped by the other day and spoke with her about the change in quality of food. She is a dear woman who appreciated my feedback and told me she had to let go of a couple of employees for that reason I ordered a hot dog meal and it was ad good as it used to be. French fries are delicious, hot dog was as I requested it, a small drink and an ice cream sandwich. This was a "kids meal" which is plenty of food for me and was LESS THAN $5.00

Overall this is a pretty good Dairy Queen. The food is always "fresh" and hasn't been sitting under a lamp. The staff is friendly and they get involved in community events very locally. However, it is very slow. Always. The interior also needs updating and the fridges are locked shut. I'm positive this is a result of the area, it's just off putting.

Went today at the end of my hot bicycle ride. Got myself the watermelon strawberry smoothie and a flamethrower burger. Fantastic tasting burger, cooked just right. Smoothie was ice cold and a great way to end my extremely hot day. Out of the several DQ's I think this one is my new favorite. Great service, employee's very talkative to you while you wait on the food. 5/5 all the way.
