Watershed Kitchen & Bar

Wowsers, did this exceed expectations. Kind of a strange location. I know the brand and label, so of course, I'm interested when I first found it on Google. I've been to a couple places now in these corporate park type locations. It seems to be an indicator. 🔥🔥 This was such a delight. Bartender was smooth and laid back.l. Knowledgeable, but didn't bug me about anything. He was interesting and talented. The cocktail menu is sorted by region and ingredients. Very cool. I got a little adventurous at first, and finished with a lovely negroni with Barrel aged gin. Ok, maybe I had 2. The short rib was a delight. Perfectly moist, no artificial smoke flavor. The jicama was refreshing. The sauce was absolute fire. I'll be back next time in Columbus, fer sure.

The short rib was fantastic! And the cocktail menu is a fun “around the world” theme currently, and are excellent. This has always been my go-to restaurant for friends and family from out of town, and I hope it continues. The distillery (and maybe restaurant?) has been bought out by a Swedish alcohol firm that I hope retains the essence that makes Watershed unique while also getting their name out there + distribution. I also hope the exec chef doesn’t leave anytime soon!

Had dinner here last night for the first time. The service was great and pretty fast. If you are a picky eater I don't recommend it for the food. Check their menu online before you go. If you are a foody, you'll enjoy the food. Lots of drink choices. The vibe was contemporary and cozy. I did think it was a bit overpriced.

This secluded bar/restaurant is a cocktail lover's dream. The lounge-like decor is set against a glass wall that showcases the numerous vats used to distill their spirits. The cocktail menu is made to look like a 50s era magazine and has A LOT of drinks to choose from. The food menu is smaller, focusing on quality over quantity. I had beef short rib and an Old Fashioned-esque drink, both were superb. Service was a bit slow, but we came on a busy night. Also the bill reflects the quality, so this will end up being a special occasion destination for me.

Came here for date night and it was a great fit! We splurged a bit so got the bread and spread (carrot hummus and miso butter), wings, steak, and short ribs. I wouldn’t normally order the short ribs based on the sides it presented with but I ended up enjoying the summer squash and corn mix! Also the bread pudding was to die for 😩😩😩

Great service and food! Had a reservation for dinner at 7 on the patio. It started raining so they quickly moved us inside and sat us immediately. Ambiance was really cool. Dinner menu had a decent selection but the drink menu was huge! We had the brussel sprouts and bread & spread for appetizers, both were delicious. Entree’s I tried the Short Rib and the Smashburger, both were great!! Was shocked how good the burger was and it came with a ton of fries. Decent portions for everything.

It's been awhile since we have been to Watershed, but it was worth the wait. Scarlett was our server and she was very attentive and allowed us to take our time ordering. The cocktails were fantastic. I had the Swizzler made with their gin. We loved the hush puppies. I thought the wings were a little spicy, but the perfect spice level for the husband. The smash burger was delicious and super messy with the bbq sauce. We ended with the waffle and ice cream and it was the perfect amount of sweet and salty. Casual yet high quality. A definite date night out or place to visit with friends.
