Mitchell's Ocean Club

This is one of my favorite restaurants! Always consistent and never had a bad meal. We travel from Dayton to dine here 3-4 times a year! Our waiter Tryan was fabulous and made dinner fun. The bartenders always make consistent and fabulous drinks!! I forgot to take pictures of my dinner but trust me you do not want to miss out on dining here.

When going to a Carmen Mitchell restaurant, it's always a spectacular dining experience. The Ocean Club not only met this experience reputation, THEY EXCEEDED IT. Staff is phenomenal. Dinner was perfectly cooked and prepared. I was there celebrating my birthday with my family and the treated me like it was a huge party just for me! I had the 16oz Ribeye - perfectly cooked (medium rare) and seasoned. My wife had the crab legs - best crab legs she's had from any dining experience. My girls had sushi - I've been to some pretty fancy sushi places but these rolls were knocked out of the park! I was even presented with a birthday dessert - on the house. We have many steak and seafood establishments here in Columbus. Don't waste your time finding the best one. THIS IS IT!

One of the best dining experiences we've ever had anywhere! Our server, T, was amazing and made the BEST recommendations! Food was outstanding and cooked to perfection, service was attentive without being bothersome, and the drinks were delicious! We had the Shrimp cocktail, Blackened Red Snapper, Land and Sea (special with NY strip & scallops), Jalapeno Gratin, Smoked Gouda tater tots, Hot & Dirty martini, Espresso martini with cream and Butter Cake. We both wanted to lick our plates!

I will have to say that this is one of my favorite Steakhouses in the city. The service was phenomenal, the food was spectacular. I throughly enjoyed myself. I ordered a steak, crab cakes, and the salad was on the money! The cake was on the house for the birthday celebration! I didn’t feel overwhelmed by the menu, our waiter gave us plenty of time to make up our minds when it came to ordering. I will have to give this restaurant a 10/10 with food and experience . I look forward to the next time I am able to dine at this restaurant.

Whenever I want to go to a nice place to celebrate something special or just have a more upscale meal, Ocean Club always comes to mind as a potential option. Their service is great whether you’re seated in the dining area or have decided to enjoy your meal at the bar. I usually order their sea scallops (because it’s hard to find place that has scallop risotto on their menu…and a good one at that) or their Chilean sea bass. You can’t do wrong with either one. I went for the sea bass this time. The black orchid is also my favorite cocktail there. My go-to is an old fashioned, but I’ll switch it up for a black orchid whenever I’m here. Another thing you can’t find at other places. Grab one at the bar while you’re waiting for your table to be ready. You’re welcome.

Went out with my team for a business dinner and had amazing experience! Hats off to our server Dominic, he's was beyond professional while being knowledgeable about allergy restrictions. He was well informed about cross contamination and offered my colleague different gluten free options. So refreshing! Next time I am in Columbus, I will be booking a reservation 🩷

My eleven year old foodie son and I had one of the best meals here a couple of weeks ago. Pricey but totally worth it! We had the shrimp appetizer. For main meals we had the frouper and Chilean Sea Bass. We are still talking about the grouper. So flavorful and delicious! For dessert we had the carrot cake and chocolate peanut butter one. Fantastic!

We dined at Mitchell’s for their Father’s Day brunch and for a place that does not regularly serve breakfast, it did not disappoint. My husband was and I were very happy with our selections and our server was polite, engaging, and met all of our needs. We ordered the calamari (our favorite), a Surf and Turf Benedict, and the Steak and Eggs. Everything tasted amazing. Thankfully the weather was nice, so we were able to enjoy dining in their outdoor area—which was a huge plus. We‘ve also dined at Mitchell’s in the past for dinner on a couple of occasions and have yet to have a negative experience. Definitely plan to continue to dine here in the future and would encourage others to do the same!
