Place is great. BBQ is so good and the ribs come off the bone. Came here on a whim. I already knew this place was going to slap from how the building looked and the smoke billowing out. They will cut the bbq to your liking which is a huge plus to me because I don’t always want my BBQ pulled and shredded. With any plate comes with pickles, coleslaw and 2 pieces of bread. Nice touch. I usually only go to BBQ places for the meat so I can’t comment on their actual sides but my parents loved the Brunswick stew a lot. People behind the counter are really nice and friendly. You can even see them cooking/smoking the meat which is always cool. Only thing next time is I’d ask for the sauce on the side, I really wish I could just taste the meat by itself and wasn’t a fan of the coleslaw. Other than that highly recommended!

Always good down home local cooking. Great BBQ sauce. Brunswick stew is a little too purred for my taste. Check out our YouTube channel Coolest Life.

The staff is friendly. I called in my order and it was ready when I arrived. My favorite menu item is the Que Potato w/bacon. You definitely get your money’s worth because I always have leftovers

Delicious 😋 we ordered the BBQ sandwiches to eat there for lunch. Then ordered two BBQ fully loaded baked potatoes to take home for dinner. They were so huge we shared one for dinner and my husband ate Two lunches off the second one. We will do this again. So good.

Wonderful, absolutely wondeful. The fourth generation owner (and maybe his father?) were working the counter at lunch. They patiently talked me through the options and packaged all components individually so the bbq would be scrumptious at dinner. The owner even showed the bbq fire pit, original construction to the 1953 business opening. Everything was great and it never hurts that the men working are as handsome as they are good-natured.

We Doordashed the 2lb party platter for our office because we thought it sounded like a great deal. It is supposed to come with enough food to feed 7-10 folks and this is what we recieved. The cup of beans in the photo was actually an addition. I called the place to say "hey this is in no way going to feed 7-10 people and this wasn't two pounds of BBQ and was met with defensiveness saying "I gave you ten buns...that will make ten sandwhiches". I said man that's not enough barbecue and it's not two pounds of it. He responded with "that's a 32 ounce cup". The food tasted fine, but don't order in bulk because no one has taught these folks the difference in 32 fluid ounces and 32 ounces in weight. You should also be aware that doordash just says slaw...it's bbq slaw. Not at all what was expected. We bought additional food to make sure the office had enough.

Wasn't impressed with the cold chicken or the sauce it's doused in. Brunswick stew tasted like old tomato soup. A bit overpriced for what you get. Was expecting better because it did smell really good when I walked in.
