Had the rib platter with baked beans and mac-n-cheese. The ribs were extremely tender and had a decent flavor. Where the lower rating comes in is the bbq sauce and sides. The bbq sauce had an overpowering vinegar taste. The mac-n-cheese was basically soup with noodles. No thickness about it whatsoever. The baked beans had a thicker viscosity, but no real taste to them at all.

The service is always good. The food is good too. They've changed their sauce recipe and we're not a fan of the new sauce. I am deducting 2 stars for the bad sauce.

I called ahead of time to find out what time they closed. Was instructed that they close at 7. Pulled up to the Trotwood location at 6:04 to see a sign that said the lobby was closed. Needless to say I did not get my potatoes and they did not get our money. Gave 3 stars on the basis that the downtown location had excellent food, but never actually ate at this location.

The bbq is plain and the beans are ALWAYS ALWAYS OLD and cold yes I said old & 🥶. The slaw is...... not far from tasting like chemicals. The chips were the best thing & they are the Sweet Heat Lays!!!! Need I say more? Not just one time. Consistently terrible but I WILL say they can bake a baked potato & that’s why ppl go here. Neelys Mill location. I hope they can have a fresh start in 2021!

Cornbread was hard as a rock and tasted like it had been made 7 days ago, almost broke a tooth it was so hard, potato salad looks and tastes like the kind you can buy at any grocery store, baked beans came out of a can and had stuff added to make them look homemade. Not impressed with the pulled beef and pulled pork wasn't impressive either. But for $12 for a bbq plate it should have been better than this. You get what you pay for. I definitely won't go back. Best BBQ in Tennessee is exit 87 BBQ in Jackson...

Awesome loaded baked potato with slaw. Pricing is good for the amount I got! Also bragged of it on my FB with photos, work I could show y'all it was more than I could eat!

The staff is friendly and the food is good. I get the monthly special with an extra pound of meat and can feed my family twice for $25. I will definitely eat here again.

It’s pretty sorry of a place of business to not wait on you when you are sitting in line at the place before closing time then they tell you they are closed. I can’t help the fact you left me sitting there for 10 minutes in line.
