So today I went to lizards ticket and it was a good experience... we went for breakfast and my friend and I we ordered the following:
My friend ordered the pork chops with grits and I ordered the grilled chicken breast with hash browns
Overall it was a great experience because the first time when I ordered the grilled chicken breast it was not cooked properly and I returned it and they made a fresh one and cooked well and served again.
The staff is really warm and nice and the place is overall very spacious keeping the social distancing in mind.
The coffee is good too. I loved the omelette that they served along with the breakfast and the hash browns were too good.
Overall a good place to have all meals I would prefer the lunch and dinner as they have more exciting options - do try the fries and the fried chicken.
I've been eating at Lizards Thicket for nearly 40 years, and their Broad River store is one of my two favorites. They have the best cook in the company here. I usually get baked chicken, which always comes out JUICY and ready to pull apart. Their catfish is also fantastic - and if you're more of a flounder fan, ask for flounder fried in the catfish batter. These folks provide a CONSISTENT meal with a CONSISTENT experience. After we got our breakfast menu, my wife said, "Who needs a menu, they have everything, just ask for what you want." That pretty much sums it up. SOS, sausage gravy, waffles, country ham, city ham, onion sausage, bacon, pancakes, hash browns, grits, etc., etc. And everything is very good.
