Firehouse Subs

My order is always ready upon arrival. I especially love the $4.99 special that needs to remain for the duration. Workers are polite and friendly. Only thing is they never mention the loyalty program, I had to find out on my own and they never remind you to enter your phone number so that you can earn the points.

They don't deserve that one star I gave but here goes. I ordered my sub over the phone. I told the young lady specifically what I wanted. Went to pick it up, no one acknowledged me when I walked in except for Welcome to Firehouse subs. So after standing at the counter for a few moments, surrounded by 4 people that didn't bother to look up or even ask, MAY I HELP YOU?, I had to TELL them that I was there to pick up sandwich phoned in order. Next, I order chips with my sandwich, and there was none. I asked for my bread to be toasted and it wasn't. The pastrami that was on my sandwich was chewy and a lot of fat marbles in it. It was just a horrible experience all the way around!! I was told after calling back that I am suppose to pick up my own chips. NOT IF A CUSTOMER DOES A ORDER OVER THE PHONE! When a customer CALLS IN, they don't have time to search for something that should already be in the bag! I could see if I ordered it at the restaurant then that would make sense. This location (Hardscrabble) has horrible customer service!! Will NEVER set foot back in that location!!! EVER!!!!!

Well the staff was very polite.however I ordered plain pastrami on white Italian foot long one side with cheddar cheese other side plain with just brown mustard...first problem.sandwich was made with lettuce and tomatoes...I did not ask for that..when we brought it back for correction instead of half cheese and half no cheese...we got 1quarter cut. Plain and 2 thirds with cheese...it was asked to be cut half..one side cheese other half plain....not a difficult request..but they just was unable to get it right...P.S. Never had this problem at Subways.

The service is decent IF you order inside and have time to wait for the food to be made. Don’t bother calling them during midday (11am-12pm). I was on hold for 7 MINUTES. Hung up called back and got put on hold again. Maybe firehouse needs to look into increased staffing at the Hardscrabble location. Oh and their app?? Fuh-get-about-it! The app doesn’t communicate with their stores (won’t communicate with the Hardscrabble store or the one in Cayce). Tried their website (trying to order ahead) and got the same issue. Over this place.

The price is a bit high compared to a place like Subway for not significantly better quality. They do have a Coke Freestyle drink machine and I think those are great. Most of the subs don't have much flavor if you don't like mayonnaise. You can work around this by adding additional items but the format of the in-store menu doesn't make this obvious. Firehouse does have a good online ordering system that makes it easy to customize your order.
