Taco Express Mexican Grill

Ok 1st off to Liz the cashier thank you for good and kind service. 2nd Good shrimp tacos but I think I'll ask for hard shells next time for soft shell falls apart a little to easily but other then that everything was very tasty and I look forward to returning again sometime. Oh not sure why but they should reopen the door on the opposite side cause I had parked on the advance cashing side and saw there was no door handle and saw it blocked off on the inside with a gate door.

If I could leave zero stars, I would. This is just bad food. For starters, you only get free chips and salsa if you spend a certain amount -- $20 I think. No worries, though. You don't want their chips and salsa. The chips are stale and unsalted, and the salsa is gross -- definitely not fresh. The margaritas tasted off -- weird twang. The food was served on paper plates, and the waitress gave us unwrapped plastic ware from her apron pocket. The beans -- I didn't try them, but my husband tasted them and he said he would steer clear. The food, in general, was bland and tasteless. The 'steak' chimichangas had no seasoning, and that was not steak. Overall, really bad food that costs too much. Go to literally any other Mexican restaurant in town.

Okay I have ate here for years and never in my life seen anything like this. We PAID FOR CHIPS AND SALSA AND CHIPS AND CHEESE DIP and this is the amount of chips they told us we get! And they tried to act like they didn’t know what we were talking about when they forgot to give us our drink that comes with the fajitas. If you put both of these bags of chips in one bag you wouldn’t even have a full bag of chips. There’s literally six chips in one bag. Six chips for an entire order of queso. Then another maybe 8-10 chips for a full order of salsa. That I PAID FOR. I could understand if these were complimentary but this is ridiculous.and editing to add when I got home to eat my food is made wrong! I asked for no tomatoes. My food is covered and tomatoes and they smothered my food in sour cream it’s almost inedible and they forgot the cheese that goes on it.
