This place is a diamond in the rough! Can't say enough about the friendly, down to earth atmosphere of Jimmy's Mart, only to be outdone by the incredible food, & the people that serve it.
I moved down to South Carolina last August, & my neighbors took me here shortly there after to turn me on to some incredible chili dogs, & I've been hooked on Jimmy's Mart ever since!
This place offers some genuine, down to earth cooking and features many southern favorites you just wont' find in other places, prepared to perfection like you'll fine at Jimmy's!
I ABSOLUTELY recommend this place if you're looking for some genuinely prepared southern comfort foods, in a setting that is easy going & down to earth!

I'm sure the hot dogs are very good but the catfish stew is the worst I've ever had the last time I got it it didn't have enough fish this time it only had very little shredded catfish and no chunks and it tasted horribly I threw it in a bowl outside and the raccoons wouldn't even touch it

Very neighborly great spirited employees and customers that all seem to know each other well kind of like Cheers bar where everyone knows your name. stop by for a brief visit out-of-town only 8 hours away from DC my husband got one of their famous hot dogs with chili he enjoyed and I was satisfied with their coffee and the atmosphere.

Decent pulled pork sandwich, hot dog also good loaded, but not a ton better than Piggly Wiggly's one dollar ten cent dog lol.. Have not had catfish stew, kind of high for a side of it tbh so i passed and got the pulled pork sandwich even if the stew might be decent.
Overall decent place though, nice people, good beer selection also. Locals hang out here.

Never had any issues here. Best hotdogs I've ever had in Columbia and the employees are always great. Been going here for years and I'll continue to for many more. The only reason I didn't give it 5 stars is because they quit serving food at 4pm.

HORRIBLE! I used to go here but stopped. The quality of both food and service have gone WAY DOWNHILL. Some food can taste like it is soaked in SOUR VINEGAR with certain dishes. Others are very bland. The service is POOR. The lady at the counter has long hair that isn't bound back and I have found HAIR in my food. They are RUDE!! The past 3 times I have been they loudly gossiped about customers that have just left- often discussing how FAT they are. This includes the manager who thinks she is hot stuff. I don't think it is cool for a hot dog place in a gas station to fat shame customers in front of other customers!!! And I don't want them talking about me when I leave! No mediocre food is worth this. STAY AWAY!!!!

While wouldn't go there to buy gas probably the most expensive in town you can't beat their $5 breakfast. Very good hot dogs. An overall pleasant environment. I think Jimmy's is probably one of the great deals in town. Bone Appetit

Best hotdogs in town. Don't forget the sausage dog, BBQ sandwich or the Catfish stew. Have you tried there morning biscuits. Stop on by and tell Jimmy, Dusty says hello.
