Mixed Feelings. I visited House of Saigon yesterday after hiking for many hours so I went in with a roaring stomach. I was craving Asian and landed upon House of Saigon - Vietnamese and Chinese cuisine. In my past experiences, restaurants that mix the two never really are my favorite...I like just Vietnamese or just Chinese. I ordered the Lemongrass Chicken and it was not my favorite. I thought it tasted like shrimp/seafood. My boyfriend ordered the Curry Chicken - Vietnamese style, which I LOVED. It was the dish I should've ordered. It was a warm comforting flavor that was well cooked and spiced just right. The Lemongrass Chicken didn't really even taste like Lemongrass. If I ordered shrimp I might have liked it a little bit more. We also realized that the rice served was very cheap, not that wonderful aromatic rice I have found in many other restaurants. For the price, House of Saigon was definitely worth it, I just don't think I'll be frequenting again when there are so many other restaurants in the Springs to check out.
Surprisingly good! Its like a mix chinese & Vietnamese cuisine but theyre grear both ways. We ordered Phó and Spring rolls. The place wouldnt look like much but the food is quite good.
Food is delicious. Ordered grilled pork noodle dish. Staff was friendly. I will come back again.
House of Sáigón has been one of our go-to restaurants for 10+ years now. And when I say "go-to," I actually mean to-go. Honestly, I've never once eaten inside! Here's the thing: personally, the ambiance isn't appealing to me. It's small and needs a good revamp. However, the staff is amazing and the food is delicious. Even better: they are quick! I normally call about 20 mins out, and they have the food hot and ready upon pick-up.
The spring rolls are great, but my favorite is the noodle bowl with an extra egg roll. 🤤
Every bite was amazing! And the prices were as well. The noodle bowl did not disappoint and the Vietnamese iced coffee was one of the best I’ve had! Kinda a hole in the wall kind of place but don’t judge this book by the cover!
Idk much about Vietnamese pho but this was the best regular pho (rare steak) I've had.
I love pho. And I think this place serves very tasty one. Lady was so nice to us and attentive. She kept checking up on us if everything was good. Kept waters full. Meat tasted fresh and delicious so did the broth. Food is very good.
Only thing is place has a bit weird smell inside. But that can be easily changed
If low key and hidden is your style, this is your place. Fascinating fusional style food but I really like it. They have Chinese stuff as well but it's basically Viet.
My husband read the article on the wall about their award-winning pho and it is no joke!!! Best food always, delivery or pickup, everything is carefully wrapped and transported to keep it
at its best. I can't recommend just one thing because everything we have ordered from them has been phenomenal!!! Do yourself a favor and let these folks cook for you, you will not regret it!
Delicious beef bowl with rice noodles and Vietnamese egg rolls. There was only 3 parties in the restaurant but the poor waitress could barely handle that with the phone ringing. Maybe hiring a helper would fix that. Otherwise it was a good experience.
I love going here for chicken pho! It's delicious! The spring rolls are fantastic too! The staff could not be kinder, sweeter or friendlier! Awesome!
