Food is always fresh and they always have it out fast. You can't beat the prices either. If there were more locations I would never eat at Taco Bell again!
The food here is very good (especially when they have all the ingredients) and the staff here are, if nothing else, very efficient in getting your order correct and ready in an almost too quick approach. I say this because occasionally, they will start preparing individual items of your order before you have finalized it due to late coming information about lack of ingredients. Otherwise, Del Taco has become a favorite of mine. Must try the Epic Burritos and the Queso Fries.
Oh, I love me some Del Taco. They have a good-sized 'Epic Cali Bacon Burrito' that is terrific. The Queso Fries are great too. Tacos and salads a very good. The only complaint I can make is that they are frequently out of bacon.
Best service ever! I haven’t been to a Del Taco in years, as I live in Michigan and we don’t have them there. I was greeted so warmly by the girl at the counter (LaLa I think), that I had to look behind me to make sure she wasn’t actually greeting a friend. The food came out so fast that I didn’t have time to get all my napkins, straws, etc before they called me. The food was delicious and hot. And though I ate outside, it didn’t seem like it because the dining area was so clean! If I ever find myself in Colorado Springs again, this will be my “Go To” Del Taco!
The beef taco meat had a taste to it that I personally wasn't fond of but the burrito I ordered was impressive by not only it's size but also by the flavor. It made me have some mixed feelings on the food, but now I know I will definitely order one of their extremely large burritos again.
Good food, great variety, and their 8-Layer Veggie burrito bold is grand! I bike here for lunch every week. The staff is also amazing. If you have a problem they'll fix it with smiles on their faces!

So I’ll start by saying I literally do not eat any fast food. I grew up in a family that never let me have it and my relationship with it became really toxic due to that restriction. As I grew older I rarely experience fast food unless a friend had gotten some fries and I asked for a couple. Then I became vegan when I was 25 and assumed I would just never have fast food like a normal person ever. But on a recent roadtrip I looked into vegan options at fast food chains and was surprised to see that del taco is really the only place that has truly vegan options, not just impossible patties on things that still have butter and cheese, etc. a lot of places are hyping up plant based alternatives but when you look into it more, it’s often vegetarian and never full vegan. So when I realized del taco not only differentiated on their website what’s vegan, vegetarian, etc but that they had two legit vegan items that looked delicious, I decided to reward myself after a long days hike with a full del taco vegan feast. I ordered the vegan burrito (which is massive) and two hard shell vegan tacos. No editing the order like at other places or making sure to ask to remove cheese etc. Just said the name of it and it is all vegan. So easy. No stress about miscommunication or if the order will be wrong. Both items were shockingly delicious and such straightforward ingredients. I’m not stupid, I know that fast food quality rice and beans probably isn’t as good for you as if it was the same ingredients from a nice restaurant, but the taco was literally just rice, beans, impossible beef crumbles (which I already buy at home), lettuce, and avocado. Soooo yeah it’s still fast food but nothing I felt guilty about. So if you’re like me and have ruled out ever eating fast food again- whether out of guilt or diet restrictions or whatever- think again. Because this changed. The. Game.

Of course, I have had a rare bad meal here and there over the years, but overall their chicken soft tacos have tender, juicy, and plentiful chicken (compared to the other Del Taco's I've been to), soft tortillas, flavorful and once again plentiful sour cream sauce or whatever it is they put in those things...I am hungry typing about it!

Del taco as a whole is 5 stars, my experience last night was NEGATIVE 5 stars!!! Please read for a terrible Del taco experience: I absolutely love Del Taco as a whole, the beyond avocado tacos are wonderful but I will never go to this Del Taco again! It was the worst experience of incompetence I could ever imagine at a fast food restaurant! First when I ordered, the girl taking my order paused for so long while looking for each thing I ordered. After the longest time I have ever spent in a Del taco drive through I went back home to find I was missing my brother’s large chips and queso and there were vegetables on his taco when I asked twice for there not to be. Then I drove back to Del Taco explained very politely that I was missing a large chips and queso and needed one of the tacos remade and she said okay but only gave me a small chips and queso and no taco. So I handed her my receipt and said that I was sorry but she messed up again. Also the small chips and queso was less than a third full of queso. After waiting a ridiculous amount of time (again) she handed me the large chips and queso but NO taco so I said that I was still missing a taco and she gave me a taco but my mistake I didn’t open it to see if it was correct. And then I get back and it was beef not chicken!!! So after driving back and correcting her three more times I never got the right order. Then after all that I was so excited to finally eat my usually amazing beyond avocado tacos but they were so soggy I threw them away because this whole debacle took so long!!!! Literally the length of the aquaman movie because it was beginning on tv when I left and ending when I finally got back. She also seemed so annoyed at me for correcting my order so I feel like maybe she gave me the beef taco instead of the chicken taco just to be rude. I never leave reviews but I felt like I just had to because this ruined my evening!
