CPK has a good selection of choices on the menu. My only issue is that the food is a bit over priced. The Jambalaya is almost $17 but based on portion size and flavor it shouldn't cost more then $14. The pizza is average - flavors are all really great but crust is kinda dry. Macaroni bites suck! They are not even close to the Cheesecake Factory ones. We really enjoy all the pasta dishes and would consider CPK a place we would eat at every few months.

Decent for California-style Pizza. My wife and I have been to a CPK before. You can expect a trendy interior, a large, varied menu and a formal waitstaff.
The CPK specializes in "personalized" pizza's that ring in around 12" in diameter and have toppings you wouldn't normally find at other pizza places. Just look at my Thai pizza for example. No tomato sauce here, instead, it's a peanut sauce. It comes with scallions, chicken, sprouts, etc. It was pretty tasty with all of the flavors going nicely and reminding me of, guess what, Pad Thai.
My wife's 3 topping pizza was also pretty good. The sauce was just enough and had the traditional California style sweet sauce. The sausage had nice, noticeable fennel seeds in it, which made it seem more premium.
I like their traditional crust, which was crunchy and very chewy with a slight hint of sweetness to it. I really enjoyed it. And best of all, it wasn't dusted with that damn corn meal like Extreme Pizza does.
I'd recommend CPK to people who would insist on a chain restaurant, but also because I don't believe there is a local pizza joint that specializes in California Style pizza in the Springs.
Good Service, Good Food. I love the variety of their menu and every time we've eaten here the service has been great. I do tend to get a little bored with their food, though as it doesn't always seem to be the most flavorful in town. But with that said, we do continue to go back because it's still decent food.
I like there food..They have several choices.. Don't like there new small menu choices.. kind of rip.. Hate being there at training time.. You hear them train three to five people. One by one like robots.. There servers of food.. Corp take a chill pill
The pizzas are definitely unique yet pretty tasty, although somewhat pricey. Most of the people that this place caters to are the upper-middle class hipsters. The restaurant is almost a little too trendy for me, but still good if you're in the mood for something different, like a Carne Asada Pizza.
Great food and great service, I really wish we had one down in Pueblo! I had the spicy chipotle chicken pizza and it was amazing, as was the fresh bread that was brought to our table. Top it off with a unique non-alcoholic drink, a Cucumber Reviver, and I would have to say it was a fantastic meal. The kid got a kids BBQ chicken pizza, which was also really good, especially for a kids meal. I'll make the drive up to the Springs to eat here again.
Ok if you're a person from New York or Chicago then you may not like this place... but it it's called California Pizza Kitchen (CPK) I mean they have gluten free cauliflower pizza crust! Also, it's a good restaurant where you have different options to choose from if you're not looking to have pizza.
Zay was a fantastic and attentive server. Arrived at 430 on a Wednesday afternoon and was able to enjoy a quiet and delicious dining experience. The pizza is awesome.
Overall not disappointed but not blown away. Typical quality for the chain, good service, long wait for seemingly simple food.
Great food, never ate here before, but definitely will again. The Karina was very nice and right on the ball.
Pizza was decent. I did enjoy the cauliflower pizza crust, however I didn't truly feel that the food quality matched the price. I did take the offer for a $5 take and Bake pizza with the purchase of an entree, which I felt was a good deal. Overall, service was good, environment was mellow and suitable for all ages.
This Place is always a great choice. Quality food, friendly atmosphere and great service. Unfortunately, this time the service was a bit off, but I will chalk that up to being busy on veterans day. They are one of the many businesses in the area that support or military, active and veterans with a 20% discount. In addition, on veterans day, they provide a free menu with over 10 items for free with an ID card or DD214. My wife and I, both veterans, are grateful for the free dinner provided in our honor. I had the four cheese pizza with tomatoes and she had the Bolognese. Both were cooked to perfection and seasoned with all the right ingredients. Receiving our meal was prompt, but then we were left for a while without a check-up. Either way, it was a great experience and the minor service oversight can be forgiven.
Always have excellent service here. We had a large party that they had no issues accommodating. Our server Vanessa was great, our drinks were refilled promptly and food came out fast. The food is also always good. You know you're going to get good quality, fresh food every time. I love the chicken piccata, the Chipotle chicken pizza, and the lettuce wraps. The salads are also delicious.
California Pizza Kitchen was great again! We stopped in to do a takeout order. I ordered the Shrimp Scampi pizza with cauliflower crust and it was amazing. CPK has one of the best cauliflower crusts around! Our service was impeccable at the takeout counter & incredibly quick. Definitely one of my favorite lunch time spots!
Our servers Janessa and Hayley were amazing! We were served excellent food by very helpful and friendly people. They even made our dinner experience fantastic with an unruly and rude table behind us. Cheers to these wonderful people at a great restaurant!
