First time here today and it is absolutely delicious. Quick delivery of the order and nice environment. I highly recommend this place to anyone.
Green line grill is an unassuming place in virtually the middle of nowhere. However they have some truly outstanding burgers. We tried their special burger & the regular cheeseburger. Both of them were excellent! Do note that this is more like a real burger place - greasy & small. But be prepared to have some incredible burgers there!
Had the special of the day, OB Deluxe. burger with pepper jack cheese, green chilies and bacon. Was fantastic. Highly recommend this place. People were super friendly and service was quick and prompt.
Great tasting burgers with a great value. I would go again.. and try some variety next time. I would love to go back just to support a great little burger joint that makes good food and a fair price.
Son and I stumbled upon the place today while looking for a local small business joint to have some lunch. We both ordered the cheeseburgers with an order of fries. The young lady at the counter was very friendly and explained the menu. When we received our order we were so excited! These are fresh, hand-formed patties, smothered in melty cheese and topped with abundant amounts of onions, lettuce and tomato. Definitely one of the best burgers in the city! The fries were fresh, hand-cut and way too much for the two of us. Very good value for the money ($4). The only concern was that we paid the same amount of money for a diet coke and coke that were of clearly different sizes and weights. Otherwise, we are hooked.
Gotta try the Onion 'Fried' Burger. I heard good things about this place and it didn't disappoint. These guys make a pretty good burger. I had their famous El Reno-style Onion 'Fried' Burger - a blend of their hamburger meat and onions. The staff was nice and the cook even came out and asked us how our food was. Definitely stop by on a Friday as it is "Free Fry" Fridays. Can't beat a great $5 burger with free fries.

Perfect Fries. You walk in and it is like a home town event. Friendly people, fresh food and oh my my The FRIES ARE TO DIE FOR!!! Best, hand-cut, crispy-fresh french fries anywhere.
The food her is amazingly well prepared and super delicious. My kids loved it and loved playing the game that were there as well. It’s smash burger without all of the millennials. Defiantly recommend this for anyone who loves a great burger at a decent price.

Overall, the best burger we've had in the Springs to date. To quote my wife, "when I say I'm craving a burger [in the future], this is what I'll mean."
There's a lot of positives about this place. Several options and ways to customize your burger. Prices are very reasonable. Tons of seating. Quick ordering process and friendly staff - we would have accidentally ordered too many fries and the cashier made sure we knew the differences in sizes.
We had the Mushroom Swiss and the Bacon Bleu... both were phenomenal. This place does not skimp on the toppings at all; both were fully loaded. Buns are locally sourced (truly outstanding) and are tossed on the griddle to hold up to the burger and filling. Fries were salty and well-seasoned, and slightly greasy... but perfect all the same. You HAVE to get the cheese sauce for dipping, trust me!
They have several (local) draft, can/bottle, and some liquor options, but also have the standard array of non-alcoholic drinks.
It's definitely a "greasy spoon" kind of place. The only real negative we noticed was that the staff is was just slammed with tickets and didn't really have time to wipe tables or clean up minor accidents. Most people bussed their own tables while a small handful did not. Even with this, we didn't feel like cleanliness was necessarily an issue moreso that the staff could've probably used just one more person on shift to help out with those things. When staff had time, they were busting their butt to do side jobs.
We can't wait to come back and try some other options. Highly recommend to anyone looking for a damn good burger in the Springs.
Besides the bartender next door pounding on the window trying to get me to eat in the bar instead it the burger spot (same business, different vibes), everything was excellent. The burgers and fries were GREAT. Toasted bun, correctly cooked patties, excellent crispy fries.

Grilled Onion delicious Smash Burgers, didn't taste like grease but boy was it juicy and the kinda burger you don't set back down and by the end a little grease is running down your wrist! It's absolutely perfect! That was the couple bites I took of the girlfriends after eating my perfectly cooked yummy Chicken Bacon Ranch Grilled Chicken w/ Pepperjack. And the fries... Handcut and addictive! My stomach hurts so bad. We went to the little hole in the wall side on the right and are inside. The 2 guys working were nice, helpful and had great customer service. 5* Will be a must stop every visit! Oh and the rest of the group liked the heavy syrup fountain drinks big time! Thanks Again

I love a good hole in the wall, my food was great and very well priced. The staff were nice and got us served fast. The fountain Coke was the best I've had in a while. Definitely going to stop back in just for the fries!
I was treated like a king (on the right in the pictures).Visiting from Minnesota and staff (including Chef Bobby) couldn’t have been kinder. Love the ambience and food. Ordered a burger to go to to bring with me to the airport for my wait for my outbound flight. Why eat airport prepackaged food when I can have a real onion “fried” burger? Thanks staff. I’ll be singing your praises. And for T-shirt people, the logo shirt is a must have.
Classic diner spot in the Springs. I had a mushroom swiss burger with fries and a Diet Coke. The burger was delicious and the fries were pretty good as well. Service was quick and the atmosphere was enjoyable.
Wow! I have eaten a lot of good burgers but none as great as this one. They slice onions so thin and then saute them to a golden brown and then put into the inside of your burgers and cook the high quality meat just right put it on best toasted brioche bun with what ever toppings you choose and then the fries are the old style hand cut perfectly cooked golden brown. Make sure you get cheese sauce for dipping your fries in we all said it was the best burger ever. Great atmosphere and the music made for a great afternoon we stuck around and played 3 games of pool and just hung out and enjoyed the day. Jess was our server and made us feel at home. Definitely will be back. Thanks Green line!!!
Best damn burger in this town. After visiting and walking for a long time at the Garden of the Gods and The Seven Falls, this is the place to eat burgers in Colorado Springs. Awesome burgers and fries, where the locals eat, friendly people and yes, they serve alcohol if you wish I tried two of the local brewery beers like the Red Ale and October fest and both were really good. The owner came to our table and genuinely interacted with us telling us the history behind the restaurant. Good family environment and some of the most friendly people I've met in Colorado so far. This place is a must!!.
